I had a vodka martini once. Hell i even made it for a friend. She thought it was good but as i don't like vodka i thought it was crap.

Well I made myself sick on gin when I was a teenager (don't ask) so I prefer vodka these days. But most drinks have evolved over time so I am a little less rigid about what people drink or how things are made. I do draw the line at this new flavored vodka craze going on right now. I just don't understand the need to cover up the liquor.

And DarkHelmet... you have a beautiful kid! I can only imagine what the new one will look like. You might want to buy that shot gun now for all the boys she brings home at fifteen. :rommie:

My sons first day at kindergarten. He's getting so big!!

Well, i don't like tequila. I got sick on the stuff as a teenager. Yay for underage drinking! :D

I don't like Whiskey for the same reason. I go by the theory that your first really bad hangover will be a liquor you won't like the rest of your life.

Of course, being 1/4 Irish means I'm supposed to like whiskey, so that's unfortunate.

Your theory interests me and i'd like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Also, just drink scotch. Same difference. :p

:lol:

Say that in an Irish or Scottish bar and you won't be walking home. They'll either beat you up, or insist that you try every whiskey/whisky in the bar until you can tell the difference!

I'm not big on martinis in general, but it blows my mind when people order martinis with well vodka. If you're gonna drink a martini, choose a liquor that isn't so disgusting.

:adore::adore::adore::adore: I think i love you.
Newsflash: Everybody knows.

That said, I once tried to invent a Jager Martini. It kind of tasted like cherry NyQuil.

[Zoidberg] I'm not hearing a "no." ;)

That sounds mildly interesting.

Really, its intent is to help maintain a higher alcohol content without the introduction of non-alcoholic flavors, like juices and sodas. So, instead of orange juice and vodka, just use more orange vodka.

Yeah, and even if you still need to dilute the alcohol a bit, you can use something like club soda without adding extra calories.

Went to yet another Giants game with my girlfriend last week. She surprised me with the tickets a few days before, and kept the location of our seats a secret. I was really surprised when I found out our tickets were 5 rows from the field!
