Saturday night, went to the BakitWhy.com 1yr anniversary event. I had submitted a design for a skateboard deck for their silent auction, who's proceeds went to the Shirt The Kids foundation...

Me on the left, and the founder of BakitWhy.com, Jer, on the right.

The design of the skateboard is a re-interpretation of design elements from both the California state flag and the Philippine national flag, to represent a Filipino-American cultural fusion.

As a VIP guest, I was entitled to an open bar, courtesy of VuQo vodka, the only Philippine Vodka distilled from coconuts. It was delicious.

So I took my son grocery shopping this weekend. When we saw the sheer awesomeness of below, we had to get them. He was so psyched! (Yeah, I was too!)

Goto some bengal cat shows and meet some breeders, find one that is expecting a new litter/has a new litter, visit them and pick one you like and be prepared to hand over anywhere between £300 and £1000+ (depending on their genetics and how well they conform to the "standard" for showing).

We paid £500 for one of them and £300 for the other (he was a runt and had some health problems, but he was cute and he got on well with the other one, they're litter-mates).
