Thanks for the kind words. :) I do, and you can download the full original size from Flickr if you have a pro account, if not, I am happy to email those to you.

Please do. My girlfriend is out of the country and i don't have the password to her flickr account. And I never really needed one, since i don't use digital cameras.

Were you smuggling alcohol across state lines? Because I've found that the police don't appreciate that. Not that I know. :shifty:

Wait... it's illegal to take alcohol across state lines?

Yup, it is. Although as far as i know, there is a limit to how much you can take with you. I doubt they make a fuss over a bottle of wine. But they were pretty pissed at my mate when he passed the Cali-Nevada border with five or six bottles of scotch.

Yep (depending on the state). Bootlegging laws are still on the books in quite a few places. The owners of the Star Restaurant in Dubuque got nailed on that a few years ago -- when they closed Backstreet in Galena, instead of returning the leftover booze to the distributors (as required by Illinois state law), they emptied out the bar and moved all of the inventory across state lines into Iowa and used it to stock Star. The police didn't smile too fondly upon that.

To have a law like that is just bizarre to me. If we had laws like to that over here we wouldn't be able to go over to the Quebec side to buy beer at the dépanneur on Canada Day!

Please, in Britain every 14 year old male(or older) must practice shooting with bow and arrow at least twice every week.

Sweden is technically still at war with Denmark, since the treaty was never signed by the Swedish representative. And the war was like 200 years ago.

There are a lot of laws people forget about, bootlegging laws are one of them.

^ The difference being that those ridiculous things like Archery laws would never be enforced even if you were caught breaking them, the bootlegging law was enforced.

According to Timby the bootlegging law is not forgotten in Iowa.

EDIT: Pingfah beat me to it.

So... Making an U-turn on State Street in Bristol, Virginia is illegal if you have alcohol in your car?

Try that in downtown Roanoke. They'll give you lethal injection.

Are you speaking from experience?

I haven't done it myself...I don't have those kind of balls(or lack of common sense), but I've been around when people pull illegal U-turns downtown or even drive while intoxicated in that area. You have so many people working and commuting down there it's a wonder nobody's ever been killed by some douchebag making illegal turns or boozing. Who knows? Maybe someone has been and I've forgotten about it.
