Orphan Black Season 5 - The Final Trip

I think they said that the old crew was pretty much gone. Don't remember the episode though.

That's my point, gone where and when? From start to finish the entirety of Orphan Black has transpired within a single year, as evidenced by the duration of Helena's pregnancy. Siobhan's crew was last seen in-story just a few months ago. How can they all be gone now?

I was thinking gone as in all killed off. I could be wrong though.

As much as I hate that the show is over in 2 more episodes, after only 50 episodes, there was absolutely no letting up, anywhere.
No filler for sure, some nice character moments that never slowed the overall pace of things, just gave us a few moments to catch our breaths.

This might be the best TV show I have ever seen, or ever will. I still love Doctor Who, but with 50 years instead of 50 episodes, there's been a lot of ups and downs there. NuBSG was pretty damn great too, even with the strange finale.

What are the odds that...

Ira isn't in the grave next to Susan's, but chained in the basement as Virginia's newest "test subject"

I wouldn't be surprised either way. There's only two episodes left so there isn't much time for many more twists and turns. On the other hand, we didn't see Ira die, only that his glitches were getting worse when he discovered Susan's body. Mark discovering Ira imprisoned would certainly get Mark to turn against Cody, but then so would finding out that Gracie was murdered by Enger, presumably on Cody's orders.

Just a though - what about Helena and karma? Is she totally redeemed and forgiven for her murders? Is that even possible? We could still lose her in the end. Maybe poetically, in childbirth.

Wow...great episode... the art exhibit was particularly good. The clones being living art, which is awesome.

In the inbetween segments, Jordan Gervais stated that the art could be on display FOR REAL.... I wonder if they will keep them for a while. It could make an AMAZING art auction that could bring in a lot of money for charity.

Sad about the deaths.... Gracie for sure (did she maybe have a baby in between?) , so tragic that she could have done the right thing had she said something (resonated for me personally), Mrs. S. of course....but also Ferdinand. I thought he was a delightful over the top villain. In addition to the attempted murder of Rachel, I thought he & Rachel would have actually had a future together.

I still wish they would have had a Spanish speaking clone....but oh well. We got a lot of great moments. Well played final season

RIP to those 2 great characters. Well and that other one shot by the big femme bad. That actress will have a future ahead of her in the genre at the very least. Series ending this year...SAD! :p

Just finished watching the episode this morning and it was good but it really did feel like setting up the finale. I really liked the funeral scene and Helena is always good but the flashbacks weren't all that revelatory and the fact that the child actress playing young Helena was not Charlotte was a little strange.

I can't believe we're at the finale already. This season has had ups and downs but the last few episodes have been more up than down. I'm really curious how they are going to end this in a 45 minute span.
