Man watching this show can be a stressful exercise. From worrying if Cosima will make it through all season to basically waiting for something bad happen in tonight's episode, it's amazing to me how much attached I've become to these characters. There were tearful moments, such as Sarah and Kira's scenes, and then there were great moments, such as the entire Alison/Donnie storyline. Donnie is an unstable SOB, but I loved him tonight, especially his idle threat in the van..."Have a shitty day"
I still enjoyed last week's episode, but this week was classic Orphan Black. We got some much needed backstory for Rachel (Her private room was really interesting), and we even got a Rachel as Sarah scene, which I should have saw coming. I knew something bad was going to happen, but I didn't think it would involve a clone switch, reminding me of Sarah as Cosima back in the season premiere. In fact, there were quite a few call backs to previous episodes, like that one or Vic saying "I hate this Garage." And while all that was going on, the writers did what they said they were going to do, streamline the story and bring everything back to Dyad. One of the criticisms I've seen of this show is that there's too much going on. Well, I'm sorry, but if you can't understand what is going on, than you need to pay better attention. This show is pretty easy to follow if you've been with it for the long haul.
As for Helena's storyline, man it was great to see her back again. I actually did recognize Tatiana's double, but it did take me a while. I also heard there was a deleted scene where the Kids and teachers were taken out of the complex before Helena brought it down. Also, just so I wasn't confused, was that really a Sherlock Homes looking Pipe when Helena said "What makes you think I'm trying to be funny?" Nice touch.
I'm really nervous about the finale next week. I think I've been this way for a few weeks but now that we're a week away, I don't want this show to go. Considering we haven't heard if it's been renewed, I haven't had enough of Tatiana Maslany goodness yet and that makes me a little sad.
