I finally made it to season 4 and with a bit of trepidation, I began to watch it...

I LOVE IT

I've heard so many reviews about how horrible it was, but I've laughed out loud several times like I did in the first season and part of the second. I like that the characters are condensed versions of themselves. The chemistry between Abed and that coat room girl in the episode where they meet was so much greater than the Big Bang Theory episode where Sheldon meet Amy Farrah Fowler (their gender opposite). Jeff is constantly on his phone, and we know that there is no one he is texting to on the other end (or at least as far as I've gotten in season 4). I'm not sure what Chang's plans are. Britta needs some work, though. I'd like to see more of Annie, too!

For only 13 episodes, the number of guest stars this season is astronomical. I'm really looking forward to this one! Guaranteed to be better than S4 at least, right???

Donald Glover was on some talk some singing dressed as a homeless man in his underwear. If what he is doing isn't an act or a gag I really hope he is getting help.

Season 4 had its share of good moments, but the premises just didn't feel the same as the best episodes from the first few seasons. They seemed more like just a normal TV show trying to be wacky, not like the show from the first three seasons that proved over and over how clearly it understood its audience and proved that characters can be simultaneously lovable and insanely dark.

Seems legit. I like the excuse they have for Jeff to be back at Greendale! And yeah, referencing Scrubs means they're meta aware of the consequences.

I would also be worried about the last season of NewsRadio.

Another example of what not to do, replace your best character with a over the top wacky character. It'd be like if Jack Black's character actually joined the cast in S1.

I love Troy's line after "...was only in the first 6 episode."

"That son of a bitch! After everything Scrubs did for him!!!

"From the executive producer of Community seasons 1-3!"
