Ooooh Christmas musical and a Greendale Civil War??? Why is NBC putting this wondrous magical show on hiatus/potentially cancelling it? Oh yeah because it basically is a cult status show.
Well, after Jonestown no one really trusts Cults. How are we supposed to watch community when our parents are constantly grounding us for dancing naked but for the goat blood in the pale moon light? John Goodman is basically Palpatine trying to seduce Troy tot he dark side of air-conditioning repair which Abeb will turn into a Starwars metaphor enough to kit up lie Han Solo again and found the Rebel Alliance which will give Annie permission to jump him.
I'm sorry, but this is a huge freakin' pet peeve of mine. A lie requires intent. If you think what you're saying is true then it's just a mistake. Teachers don't mark wrong answers on tests "lie" after all.
They should. It might trick kids into studying better. Is it a lie when they "Guess" on tests? Because if they don't know the answer, They'd be fools to leave the section blank when there's what a 10 to 20 percent chance they might get some marks from pulling something out of their ass. So still without malicious intent they are lying sometimes, and they know they are lying if they pretend to have confidence in aspects they do not. We're talking about Iraq right?
I just finished the 1st disc of Season 2 and this is now officially my favorite show of all-time, even beating out Angel & Star Trek: Deep Space 9. It didn't help The Critic.
Sony owns the show. They shoot it at Paramount and post is done at Sony. I know this because I've walked by the sound stages and offices on the Paramount lot (they're next door to Glee, which is why, I think, Jeff makes so many digs at Glee's expense during season one - its good natured ribbing) and I've also been to the post production offices at Sony.
I don't know that a series that concluded its run more than a decade ago is really as useful as a comparison as a show that ended last year...
It started hot as heck. But that baby talk just stripped the sexy right out of the routine. Eventually.
Awesome episode...and yeah the seduction scene was a little over the top but Alison rocked that outfit. I loved the recruitment of the gang. I think this might be my favourite episode of the season so far...also loved the Inspector Spacement Christmas Special reference, and then Abed's sabotage with Brita was classic! Gillian was smoking in that brown leotard as well. They really need to do a full blown Inspector Spacetime episode this season...so since my question wasn't answered before...when does the hiatus start? This was the Christmas episode so I can only assume the winter hiatus has started.
Apparently Harmon was upset that he couldn't end the episode with "To Be Continued?" but I think it was fine as a closing episode if, as they cynics seem to think, this is it. I still think NBC will stick to their promise to finish out the season, and that syndication will probably result in a fourth season being produced as well, unless NBC has a breakout comedy hit in the spring.
Last night's episode bored the hell out of me. I'm not sure there was a single piece of it that worked for me.
