Spoilers On Seven and sexuality

We saw in an episode of Ironside that Barbara Anderson's character, who was single, had twin beds. I theorized that she must have been having an affair with Ricky Ricardo or Rob Petrie.

I think Seven is actually more closed off from her emotions than ever only in a difference way. She has given into complete apathy and like a soldier is only focused now on the mission. It is interesting that she seems to have joined the rangers before Icheb was killed so I wonder what it was that compelled her to give up Federation life which I assume she would have first experienced after Voyager made it home to go out become a rebel. I think it might have just been her Voyager family going down separate paths. Janeway gets promoted. She isn't allowed to join Starfleet so she goes out and finds a purpose.

Enlisted personal get a 16 week bootcamp, if it's the same as the US Army, and then they are sent to their assignments.

Enlisted personnel can be promoted to officers with discretion.

Here's the real problem.

Janeway is a psychopath.

Seven is worse than Janeway, but Seven is not a Starfleet Captain, so that doesn't matter.

Seven trying to work for a normal Starfleet Captain who is not a psychopath, is going to shit can Seven, becuase it's like that time that Q posed as an able crewman for Picard. Seven is not going to be content having no voice in how things get done, especially if she thinks that she is right, and the Captain is wrong.

Of course if they were gay it is kind of disturbing that every gay woman in Trek is basically evil except Jett Reno. The Intendent, .Mirror Georgiou and now this criminal lady and cold blooded murder Seven.
Dax was evil? Or was Jadzia evil? Well, at least one of them got their comeuppance.

I can see a reason.
Have you ever met that whiney subsection of fans on youtube, this homophobic garbage can, those despicable morons who would scream "DON'T SHOVE YOUR SEXUALITY IN OUR FACES!!!!" the minute something non-heteronormative is only acknowledged on screen? They are quite annoying

Nobody really cares about the Youtubers especially Hollywood other than Clickbait stuff from the left. People I think sort of see it all in the same boat. People with way to much time on their hands. People might watch it for the same reason people always watch clickbait. People do sort of gravitate to things they know will piss them off but I don't think Youtubers or any of that stuff really shapes people's opinions. People go to that stuff to either get pissed off or validated but what we truly like comes from within.

I think mirror Leta and Ezri would count as well so I guess we got a few more that isn't evil. On the otherhand they are fighting for a resistance movement so we might have missed out on some dark and terrible things they have done.

Quite.

Mind, if they are thinking of this episode as a backdoor pilot for Star Trek: Fenris Rangers, they might be saving more Seven character development for Seven's own show.

I think this would be a bad idea for a show because it sounds to similar to the Section 31 show. I think if they do a Seven show it makes more sense to put her in a environment that is more supportive of her finding her humanity again. I kind of like the idea of her joining Picard's crew from Picard once Picard has left and basically doing Firefly. Keeping to themselves and just living away from the Federation and doing a little business on the side to keep surviving.

I think that could be sufficiently distinct from Section 31, on its protagonists and its moral themes.

I think the far more pertinent question is:

Do you think Bjayzl vajazzles?
Yeah, I couldn't help but think of that word whenever I heard the name. Incidentally, has anyone read any of the "Space Team" books?

I can see a reason.

And another. It could be argued that she would be less pained by sexual references than she would be emotional ones. It would be consistent with the Seven we know, and Bajay-jay would know that wasn't even the "sore-point", as it were.

Or maybe they would join the Fenris ragers.

If Seven is the protagonit of a spinoff, I predict that her being bi or gay will not be brought up again.

The conversation between Bjayzl and Seven reminded me of that between Beatrix Kiddo (aka The Bride) and Vernira Green in Kill Bill 1. There was clearly some sort of history, co-dependency, affection all culminating in the ultimate betrayal, a treachery that can never be forgiven but only resolved in death. Jeri Ryan’s delivery and acting was very much like Uma Thurman’s in that scene in Kill Bill 1.

I think they have avoid Starfleet weapons on purpose to get around the stun settings so guns can be lethal much like they are in the real world. I would say that killing anyone in cold blood counts as a evil act.

I don't think this is a useful definition of evil. In the absence of any functioning justice system, the options are killing her or letting her go. Seven chose the option which makes the galaxy a little bit better.

Seven killed one person responsible for the brutal death of somebody she considered family. Nobody else in the bar with the exception of the guards who opened fire on her may have even died. I think we can give Seven a pass on this one and call it a form of legitimate fictional vengeance imposed on somebody responsible for suffering and death of innocents. Besides I doubt there are any courts on Freecloud to dole out impartial justice and that there is a functioning criminal justice system anywhere within a handful of light-years.

She's Rooster Cogburn:
Jay, I mean to kill you now or see you hanged on Fenris. Which will it be?

Sometimes evil people get killed and no court is involved. That's...the universe. It's not always pleasant to consider but she just saved the nearest magistrate(assuming there even is one)a heap of time.
