I for one am looking forward to seeing the Borg in Enterprise.
It's not violating continuity or anything - the only continuity it is violating is fan expectations and fan fiction that has been derived from speculation.
It's a shame that we couldn't see 22nd sentury Borg though
Exactly.
But what's the big fucking deal? It's only a bloody TV show folks, no need to pull your bloody hair out.
You know what I did when I started to dislike what VOY was doing? I stopped watching the thing. Why don't all you moaners do the same, if you're so bloody angry at this news?
And remember which Borg we're seeing. We're not seeing Voyager Borg, because Voyager hadn't touched the Borg until
after First Contact. We're getting the mean mother fuckers from First Contact, for crying out loud! It will be a
great episode, in my opinion.
And it's only two bloody drones (number increasing as more people get Borgified

), it's not like we'll be seeing a Borg Cube. These drones will not have any way of contacting the Borg of the 22nd century (FC established that they needed to enhance the 24th Century deflector dish on the ENT E to be able to contact the Borg), so we ain't gonna see many Borg at all. Either the Borg will be destroyed, or they'll just get hold of some ship and leave for the Delta Quadrant. Heck, it might explain why it takes two hundred years for the Borg to start doing the business in the AQ; it might take the Borg drones two hundred years to get back to the DQ and to tell the Borg about Earth, and the threat that humans will become by the 24th Century, etc. It will only help to tie continuity together.
But what does intrigue me is the fact that this hasn't been used as the season finale. If they are using first contact with the Borg as just the 23rd episode, then they must have something
huge planned for the season finale. Otherwise, why wouldn't they use this Borg story as the season finale?
