Just did some checking- looks like they count ties as a half of a win when figuring percentages. I guess that's where the discrepency could come into play.

I don't think that math works, because i have 6 wins more than Coaster. He's got 12 ties, so at .5 each, gets 6 more wins. I've got 9 ties, so 4.5 more for me. Means I've still got a 4.5 win lead on him. And 3 less losses (4.5 less losses if ties count as a half loss, too)
Honestly, it lists him as 2nd, so looks like he just gets 2nd place because he's in the other division, because it doesn't look like his win/loss record gets him more than 4th...
I don't really care, as it's the playoffs that matter and I'm in no matter what, just odd how it works, plus I've been stuck in 4th for too long

Yeah, one way or the other, the rankings don't match up with the win/loss percentage. I guess it doesn't matter- outside of the divisional winners, the seeding are based on winning percentage. Still seems screwy, though.
Glad I could get a little revenge on The Habs Fan. In July he beat me 0-10 in the yearly league, but I almost reversed that in the keeper league this week.

It just shows the difference between my yearly team and my keeper team. One is good, the other sucks.
Good thing I had a large cushion in the yearly league, since Scout clobbered me 0-9-1 in the final regular season game. It'll be nice to have a bye in that league- I may need to tweak my team a bit before the next round.
Have a bye in my Yahoo league as well, so I'll have plenty of time to concentrate on my keeper league team. Got a tough match in the first round of playoffs there- facing Scout's team in that one.

I'm in two leagues, and made the playoffs (5th seed in the Yahoo league and 6th seed for ESPN) in both. Considering last year, I'm very pleased with that improvement.
Losing to Scout again and again is getting a bit frustrating, but unless I have a really big Sunday surge, it's going to happen again in the keeper league. Made a few desperation moves, but I'm pretty sure I'm toast.

Had a real heart breaking sunday in the keeper league, Oh My hip hurts came back and tied our series and because they are the higher seed that was the tie breaker. Not sure if I really like seeding being the tie breaker. I think it should be who won the season series between the two teams.
Almost makes me glad I got clobbered- much easier to take than losing on a tie-breaker.
Tough one in the Keeper League right now. Me and McCosh, 5-4-1 going into the last day of the week. Gonna be tough for me to claw my way back. Either way, it means one of us has to fight through another week after this if we want to keep our streak of myself, Coaster, and McCosh as the top 3 finishers!

I didn't check out who was winning the Keeper league, but am happy to report that I look to have 3rd locked up, so looks like the McCosh-Coaster-Scout threesome has the top 3 places locked up for the 3rd consecutive year!
And in the yearly league, Pegs and I are still slugging it out, and it's going to come down to the last at-bats. She's got a 7-3 lead right now, but it's within a couple points in almost every category, so this one could go either way...
