As long as it doesnt look anything like TF:Animated. Those are some of the stupidest versions of the characters ever. I know make everything all rounded looking and make TF's look like plush dolls.
Id like a new G1 series done with animation similar to the Comic book versions...

After suffering through Revenge of the Fallen, I watched the original cartoon. All three seasons and the movie. First two seasons were the best. Movie was meh. Third season was mostly trash with a few good things here and there.

One of the ideas I thought would be cool is before Optimus Prime leaves Cybertron, have a scene where he gives command of the planet to Ultra Magnus. Throw in some other things here and there, but keep to the original plot more or less.

Have you seen this before? It was made only for the Japanese audience, but it fills in some of the blanks between season 2 and the movie, and features Ultra Magnus on Earth. It's silly, but kinda cool to see a "new" episode of a show I used to watch as a kid.

Apparentally the new 'toon is called Transformers: Prime,

Hub TV will premiere the new Transformers Prime animated series with a five-part mini-series beginning Monday, November 29th 2010 at 6:30pm ET.

Generally I like to give things a fair try but everything I've seen of this (animation quality-wise) looks pretty bad. I honestly think it looks like Reboot. Soundwave looks atrocious. They seem to be a weird mix of movie(Bay)verse and Animated for the characters.
I'm spoiled by the intricate textures in The Clone Wars, I guess.

I'll check out the first one though.
