Oh, I wasn't online much this weekend, so I missed it.
No worries, I just find it incredibly funny that startrek.com sells something as "exclusive first look" what probably was in S&S' catalog for up to a week beforehand and was posted by me almost half a week earlier. :shifty::D

Yes please: How did you find it? Is it worthy buying?

I enjoyed the trilogy a great deal. It reinterpreted a current issue in the ST setting (and with a Sci-Fi twist). The characters are like- and memorable from day 1. It tells its own story but wraps itself into the Litverse continuity like a warm blanket (direct sequel to The Fall) - and for me, continuity matters as much as story quality. The ship itself is presented well - it's not just another high-tech bucket with warp nacelles. Spiritually, it includes a crossover with ST: IKS Gorkon/Klingon Empire.

For me, it combines the best aspects of German Sci-Fi storytelling with Star Trek.

Yeah, I actually checked the S&S site before StarTrek.com, so I saw it there first. Their exclusives definitely aren't very exclusive.

It probably still is coming and is a Trek book as DRG III says in his blog he has one out at the end of December:

Last paragraph.

And in another blog post (an interesting article about the editing process of a Star Trek novel), DRG III reveals that Original Sin is indeed the December novel and through posting the in-book title page in the article that it will be Deep Space Nine.

Do we see IKS Gorkon/Klingon Empire characters, or is it more of just a thematic thing?

The Gorkon has a cameo, and like Rise of the Federation, the series focuses on two ships - the second being a Vor'cha-class battlecruiser, whose crew includes a Pheb...Pheban? Phebenite?

Actually, assuming you're referring to this then interestingly enough the title is just Star Trek Original Sin with no particular series specified. The "based on" bit further down mentions TOS (though everything is listed as "based on TOS," no?), TNG and DS9.

That's how the “based on“ on the title page in every DS9 book looks like IIRC (just checked two recent ones and they all mention TOS, TNG and DS9.

Regarding the missing Deep Space Nine I see your point, but that could be either because they usually use the stylized series header there and this is just a placeholder or could be that OS indeed is a Robinson based novel, so they want to go with a more open series title.

Based on this, the evidence you uncovered earlier, and DRGIII's caginess in the recent Literary Treks interview when the hosts talked about seeing Sisko again, I'm thinking this may indeed be the case.
