This may be more where my head is at right now more than a failing with the show but I found myself really wanting them to move on by the end. I felt they had established the situation and his confusion more than enough and by the time Moon Knight manifested it was more a relief than a climatic moment. It was like ok, now cut to credits, see you next week, same as every show always does.
That was enjoyable, even if it was mainly set up. Isaacs was great and I have to agree with other posters, I thought his accent was very good. Ethan Hawke was good and I did like Steven's coming and going, although I'm hoping that won't always be the case because Steven coming too to find chaos and bodies around him will get old real soon.
Based on the comics are they likely to integrate the personalities or will it always be a case of Steven taking a nap and Spector taking over? I've literally read a handful of Moon Knight comics thirty or forty years ago!
So is the sarcastic voice he hears Khonshu then?
Yup, and voiced by the great F. Murray Abraham! So is the sarcastic voice he hears Khonshu then?
I'm not against it as an element of the show or that they should move on and never come back to it. At some point it just felt so inevitable how the rest of the episode was going to play out and I lost interest. For something that is a core element of the character i don't believe it'll go away anytime soon if ever. I doubt the show will be a simple "Moon Knight shows up and bashes all the evil guys up" type of formula, but to a degree the examination of mental health problems and their effects on the person and his surroundings.
I don't expect it to take up nearly the entirety of each episode because the Pilot was used to establish that in detail but i expect it will come back in each episode to some degree.
Oh, cool.Several locations, but mainly Budapest.

If nothing else, now that he's starting to become aware of what's going on, we probably won't get the jump cuts to Steve waking up confused in a strange place. Now, we'll probably get to see what Marc is actually doing when he's in control. For something that is a core element of the character i don't believe it'll go away anytime soon if ever. I haven't read any Moon Knight comics, but almost everything I've seen has referred to him as Marc Spector, so I would take that to mean he's the dominant personality. From what i know about this mental issue there's always a dominant personality but i don't know which one is his, it will be interesting to find out as the show goes on.
Also, five minute end credits (or longer) is pretty common on streaming TV shows in general.Marvel Studios shows have always had motion picture length credits.
Pretty sure it had to be Steven. That would've been a very jarring place to introduce a new personality. Makes far more sense that it was Steven trying to "summon the suit" and got it all wrong in a moment of panic as he was plunging to his presumed death. Was that still Steven Grant in the Mr. Knight suit? Felt like a different character yet he was surprised to be in that suit. The show just piles on mystery after mystery but i find that very engaging and that last shot was just absolutely gorgeous. I'd like to go there too myself and find a hotel room with that view.
