Love the Grand Canyon pics. I lived out west for ten years and never managed to make it out there. Closest I got was Four Corners. :p

^ Don't be honey. I am still waiting. I think this one's all talk. :rommie:

And I still want one of those NASA RV-thingies. If I could get one painted turquoise, Hurley to chauffeur me and some Dharma brand beer hidden in the back I would be stylin. :bolian:

ouch...

i had to have my darling euthanised yesterday. in addition to her liver condition and her ulcer in her eye, she'd developed a growth in her chest which meant she couldn't keep food down. she was sick 8 times monday and another 4 times on tuesday. after 12 years together, it was painful...but it was for the best...

You have my condolences. My friends had to put their 13yr old Aussie Shepherd down last week.

What a beauty!

I hope it will heal quickly.
Thanks ye. It seems to be healin' fine. I've been giving him liquid antibiotics.

He's already licked all the iodine off, so his bare spot looks a lot better now. He's also grown a little stubble. I may be posting another pic, soon.

It does look painful, and if it is, he doesn't show it. He was quite frisky on his first day back. I was afraid he was going to rip his stitches open.

Sorry to hear. :( I don't want to ever imagine having to deal with something like that. But Rasa is going on 13 years old, so I'll prolly be faced with the same decision not too far down the road...

He had a growth on his back they believe to be a some type of cancer. They are 98 percent sure just by looking at it, but won't know the results until about a week from now when I go to get his stitches taken out.

I'd miss the companionship of an animal, but things like this make me not want to have anymore because of the pain of losing them is too much.

Okay, I got some red streaks in my hair so I thought I'd post a pic to see what you guys think. The pic doesn't show them that well, but I figure it's good enough! And no, I don't know how to take a picture making a normal face. :p

That was exactly how i felt when we had to put our 16-1/2 yr old westie down. I went exactly three weeks without a dog when i decided i had to get another one, stat. The house was so empty without one. So, after looking, we found one. And then, not too long afterwards, another one. I can't imagine life without my two knuckleheads now!
