My love for Fluttershy went up about 1000% the way she didn't give in to Discord. Such a sweet pony.

The episode was bit dark though.

I think it's exactly what it needed to be. It's a dark subject, and I'm glad they didn't pull any puches, even if they did make sure the episode was hilarious the whole way through.

Speaking of, I think we should have a Tabitha St. Germain fanclub, because every line reading she gives for Rarity is fucking gold. "You handsome hunk...of rock!" "I know where you live."

I know, that was pretty damn dark for a kids show, what with the body horror, acid flashback Discord scenes and mindraping the Ponies, Cloudsdale falling from the sky was just outright scary.

That's just wrong but funny.

What an episode. Pretty dark for this show, especially the cliffhanger. I loved how Fluttershy couldn't be tricked by Discord. I wonder why he didn't try to corrupt Twilight Sparkle, though. Now that she's got her magic back, she's a very dangerous opponent. I can't wait to see how they'll resolve this.

Discord is such a wonderful enemy. And Fluttershy... really cute.

Rarity falling was easily my favourite part, though. She so FABULOUS.

Great opening episode, good balance of dark and humour. Needed more Luna.

I'm familiar with a few R34 Pony artists, this one is...tingly.

Yeah, he's not a R34 artist per se; his stuff is more about ambiance. He's got a whole series of "Good morning _____" images, featuring POV-style shots of characters waking up in bed, often seductively tousled.

Speaking of suggestive, that shot of Celestia's horn is a thing now. Check out the tags: "horn boner." Heh.

I love those morning ones, Lyra and Bon Bon shipper too, he has them sharing the only proper twin bed I've seen so far.

If I could pick one piece of fanon to canonize, it would be Layra/Bon-Bon. They're so cute together. (And with the show being all about inclusiveness, I wish they could acknowledge that LGBT exists, even though I know standards and practices would shoot them down.)
