Stop some villain plot, you say? There's a new twist!
Well... Thor: Love and Thunder will be starring Natalie Portman, an Israeli-American woman of similar Central and Eastern European-Jewish ancestry to Gal Gadot.
Maybe since the Netflix MCU is done instead of a series they could spin Simone Missick's Misty Knight and Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing off into a Daughters of the Dragon movie.
Cumberbatch playing Dr Strange with a British just becomes Sherlock with some magic tricks
Given that I don't watch that lousy program, I have no objection to that.
Well I was mostly thinking of the character interactions. Plus don't know comics enough to know the stuff not in the movies. Maybe they got to stop white extremist who have gotten hold of Wakanda tech. Jason
They could, but, it will be at least two years before they could even begin development because of the contract with Netflix.
Those two were great.
Yeah, I think I almost saw more people wanting a Daughters of the Dragon series than I did wanting second seasons of Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
Natalie Portman is as white as wonderbread
He should have played Strange with an Indian accent!
Portman might have been brought back because they were afraid to sale the teamup of Hemsworth and Thompson after the failure of MIB:International. Jason
I would say so but the idea of trying to replace Will "Mr charisma" Smith and Tommy "I cannot sanction your bufoonery" Lee Jones was a silly idea from the start.
In what way is she "whiter" than Gal Gadot? (Not that it matters in the grand scheme, but I'm curious.)
The life of privilege is one way
Although "whiteness" is an inherently unscientific and nebulous concept, this question has an obvious and objective answer: she isn't.
Gadot was 2004's Miss Israel; neither of these actors are any kind of rags-to-riches story. Your point, which had no validity to begin with, is doubly wrong.
Lmao gadot was flipping burgers in BK during high school. Portman was a child star.
The defending of Portman on here is atrocious, she looks white she's from a wealthy family, she grew up in America. That's enough! Why is she some golden goose who absolutely must not be criticized.
Give me the poor Mexican, the poor African, the poor Arab, the poor asian, the poor aborigines.
Give me REAL diversity not pretty straight white trust fund lady who grew up pampered, they are not a repressed minority and I'm sick of them pretending they are and coat-tailing on those who have experienced REAL struggle
It's time right now, ok up to 2019 let's give it a pass, but it's time for activists like Brie Larson, Portman and the rest to start stepping down from their starring roles and insisting Hollywood starts casting some diverse actors in those positions. Now they can still take supporting roles I'm fine with that, but you a real activist? You've made your 10s of millions, give up your fat paychecks and let some minority actresses get those roles now.
Netflix still has her for two more years.
Netflix also has Luke Cage for another 2 years.
Misty Knight is a rip on Pam.
Beetle is a fun super villainess, of colour.
Who's defending her? (And defending her from what?) I just asked why she's "whiter" in your mind than Gal Gadot.
Are you saying that your job helps indicate how "white" you are or aren't?
Yes it does.
If your skin tones are fair the more provellaged you are = more "white-ish"
Okay, so then how does that make movie star Portman "whiter" than movie star Gal Gadot? Did Gadot get "whiter" once she started modelling? Or did it wait a while until she was a movie star?
Separate names with a comma.
