Prologues that are clearly flashbacks are different from what actually happens with Cap 1 because that movie is one giant flashback and, if you actually think about it, therefore doesn't truly work narratively if you move it away from where it was released.
Realizing that Cap 1 doesn't actually work as the first installment in a Chronological Watch of the MCU has got me reevaluating whether or not the DCEU's Wonder Woman actually works as the first installment in a Chronological Watch of that series, and I'm starting to change my mind there as well (but that's a topic for elsewhere).
Based on Cap 1 being an extended flashback (and ignoring all credits stings), this is what I now think makes the most sense as a Chronological Watch for the MCU
