Lmao reaching

She had literally zero character and was played by an actress dialing in a wooden performance

That's so true. Portman's Jane was as flat a performance as her equally "plastic action figure" turn as Padme in the Star Wars prequels. She did not bring a thing to the Thor movies other than her name.

I bet a week ago they hadn't given Jane foster a thought in years.

Probably not, since every MCU film leading up to Infinity War generated all manner of debate, including what mystery characters (if any) might appear in the film, but who was wondering about Jane at all?

Well, you've posted here five times to complain about Portman, so it seems you really, really care about telling us how little you care.

Well I think they have screwed over Tessa Thompson here which is what has got my goat

She would have been great in a role of "female thor". Yes I know she is Valkyrie buy it could have worked just give her Mjolnir she already leads new asgard

Would have been a fantastic opportunity to have a young, woman of color lead a marvel movie

But noooo here comes Natalie Portman who has half the charisma and is half as memorable... zzzz

They done Tessa Thompson dirty and are gonna make her the valley girls sidekick zzzz

It's great for diversity but somehow as usual the diversity only benefits a white woman from a middle class background, the "true minority"

Everything you just said is either wrong or seriously misguided, because Natalie returning to the Thor franchise and being given an opportunity to star in an adaptation of a comic that actually starred her character has zero effect on the prominence or significance of the Valkyrie role or Tessa Thompson's portrayal of that character.

You clearly don't like Natalie, which is your prerogative, but feeling like her presence as The Mighty Thor is somehow a threat to or disrespectful of Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie is just looking for reasons to complain.

I don't have an opinion either way on Portman but my point stands, they got rid of her character in the last movie and Valkyrie was the leading female instead, was way more memorable, was set up to take the mantle in endgame, nobody was talking about Portman then they decide to do this.

Time will tell but I see the gay black lady being the sidekick of the straight white lady in this one and that's a step backwards for diversity. We have more than enough straight white female leads they are almost as common as straight white male ones.

This aged well.

I mean in this role. Should have read "here comes Jane foster"

On the one hand we have Valkyrie who has fought evil gods and been a bounty hunter on a ruthless dangerous planet

In the other, Jane Foster who one time a guy pinched her bum at college, she knows true opression

Nope.

Right....

Have on opinion on this board but don't question the pretty straight white lady. They are the real repressed minority

Zzzz
An opinion based on....... nothing... other than 5 minutes of a Comic Con panel... of which the actors haven't even read a script. Are you in possession of the time, reality, and soul stones?

I'm in possession of 400 years of opression against my people and I know what's coming
