Another sweep!

:techman:

Offensively, it's an embarrasment of riches for my Angels.

Not sure the pitching will hold out, though.

Even though today was a loss, the Sox still took 3 of 4 from the Tigers. And Buchholz today impressed the hell out of me. I really hope its an indication of him taking the next step.

I can't believe that the security at Wrigley Field actually got the *wrong guy* when they went in after the Victorino beer throwing incident... how could they have missed this? :wtf: I hope they went back and got the one who actually DID the throwing.

^The guy turned himself in, I think.

Good for him...but I'm still flummoxed as to how Wrigley security could have missed him in the first place. I'd think that other Cubs fans sitting in that section would have jumped at the chance to point him out. There's not a lot of places to hide...

Arroyo's comments are interesting. It's strange to see a baseball player speak about PEDs so openly.

He sounds like an immature jerk to me. Anybody who brags about cheating is not worth watching, IMHO.

At 10-11 with a 5.04 ERA, they clearly aren't helping all that much.

He does have a nice frank way of looking at it that seems to reflect the pressures to succeed that players are actually under. Doesn't mean he isn't irresponsible and, if he ends up taking something that gets him suspended, he'd certainly deserve it. But it's still refreshing to read what he's saying.

BOS @ TEX could have pretty big ramifications as well, as that's the big battle for the wild card in the AL at the moment, and either team could make it tough to catch up again if they run away with it...

Philadelphia @ Atlanta. This series is huge.

Yeah. This one and another at the end of the month in Philly. Big games, especially for Atlanta, but a 4 1/2 game lead can evaporate if the Phils play poorly. I wonder who the Fish play during this time. They might be able to exploit this.

I will be at the game tonight. Should be fun!

Lester struggled and is on the hook at the moment. Bard's not helping.

Looks like the Sox will lose the top spot for the wild card tonight. Super.

Someone let me know when they stop playing like shit.

^ Hmm...there's hope yet.

V-Mart was the definition of "clutch" tonight.

Man the Giants were awful tonight. Where does the offense go on the road. It's like they forget the flight or something. I hope this isn't the case for the entire road trip.

The Red Sox have effectively nixed their chances of taking the AL East and will have to win tomorrow if they want to maintain their wild card lead.

Penny's just too iffy on the mound these days.

And now...David Wright. :(

Anybody believe Matt Cain when he said he didn't do it on purpose? What about that little hat tip that he did? That sound like remorse to any of y'all?
