Spoilers Loki season one discussion thread

Why can't he be ALL of the timekeepers ?
Yes, but I'm thinking, if I was sitting in some interdimensional parlor with other versions of myself from different times/timelines, we'd end up beating the crap out of each other. But maybe Kang's not as big an asshole as me. Hmmm. I think he's probably worse.
If Kang ever opened up his asshole he'd flood the entire multiverse.
Yeah Kang, you didn't like that? Bring it on.

I agree, but that said, I love trading ideas here with a bunch of (I mean this) intelligent, fan-knowledgeable nerds like me that I've interacted with for years. It's not quite as good as having you all over for beer, nachos, and the latest streaming release, but it's close enough.
That's how I feel, too. Discussing theories here, I'm all for. But then I ignore all of the Internet "news" that pushes all kinds of theories.

Why can't he be ALL of the Timekeepers ?
Now that's a fascinating idea. But could he handle dealing with two versions of his own ego?

I have fun reading all of the theories people come up with and seeing how many, if any of them, end up being true. But I don't get so invested that I get mad if they don't pan out.

The Time Keepers gave Immortus, a future version of Kang 70,000 years to look after.

The Council of Cross Time Kangs... The Kouncil of Kross Time Kangs, is a bunch of Kangs who get along without murdering each other so much.

The fact there's a movie coming up with the word 'Multiverse' in it is another reason I think the TVA is going to get destroyed and Loki's only going to successfully prevent something worse.

i think the time keepers will be destroyed, and the TVA will have to restructure without all the mummery.

I just have a hard time believing a franchise like Marvel would leave something in the universe that has the power to stop bad things from happening at will. I think this whole throughline is going to end by saying "There is no holy timeline we carve our own destiny now".

In Avengers: Endgame you knew the good guys were going to win because it's a movie that's not an art film and that's what happens in movies. But you could suspend disbelief and immerse yourself in the moment that they really could have lost. If the concept of a holy timeline under the protection of people with godlike powers was out there you wouldn't have that anymore.

I really enjoy having a series, even a short obe, where I find myself pondering where things are going, looking for clues, reading speculations and enjoying the ride.
WandaVision was the same way, sadly 'the Falcon and the Winter Soldier ' was not.
Dr. Who used to be, so few current shows are OK to watch but it is now very rare that I think about them during the day and look forward to the next episode

Not anymore, it's very solidly set for July 9. When did they talk about it being released on TV? I only ever heard the back and forth about theaters or Disney+, I don't remember TV ever being mentioned as a possibility. And I don't know it'd really be considered a webisode, since it's a) a one off (at the moment) movie, and b) I don't think stuff released on streaming services are really considered webisodes, since they're kind of their own thing, that seem to be treated pretty much the same as a regular TV series.

If you watch a streaming show, from a website, on your smart TV, its a TV show, and its difficult to convince Grampa otherwise.

If you read the Black Widow thread, you'll see there are plenty of people here (myself included) who are planning on seeing it in theaters when it comes out.

Huh.. apparently The Mousetm is taking another IP thats been out in the public ... FOREVER.. LOKI God of Mischief, and saying its theres... Now all companies is Disney.. :barf2:
Reading Redbubble's letter, it says "...this means that the rights holder did not specifically identify your work for removal, but that Redbubble has detected potential similarity between your removed work and one or more words, phrases or images included in the rights holder's removal guidance."

It was Redbubble that made the specific determination that it should be removed.

It's one thing to have a drawing of Loki, God of Mischief, and another to have one in green, wearing the stylized horns going forward/upward.

From what I gather Loki wasn't actually depicted on the shirt. The shirt just said "Low Key" on it, in reference to a shirt Loki wore in a comic from a few years ago. The shirt also used a different font than the comic.
