TOS: A Piece of the Action

The great Vic Tayback, 6 years before he gained fame as Mel, the diner owner in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and its TV spinoff, Alice.

James Doohan gets a funny voice cameo.

"Power Play" - NextGen HD

Fun to watch Spiner, Sirtis and Meaney play bad guys.

TOS-r: The Ultimate Computer

Guest star William Marshall and Shatner both turn up the acting juice as the Enterprise is turned into the equivalent of an armed robot drone with helpless passengers.

The CGI effects show us action not possible with the original optical printing technique, though I would have choreographed it a bit differently.

TOS - Bread and Circuses

It would have been an interesting development if the "Children of the Son" cult had been started due to stories from survivors of Merik's ship six years earlier. Though the presence of Ian Wolfe's Septimus character seems to disprove that theory.

TOS: The Menagerie, Part II

I don't know if it's the story as aired or the performance, but Number One never strikes me as someone superintelligent and logical. Some of those overdubbed lines of the transporter chief may be diminishing her importance, since they address Spock even if she's in the room.

TOS: The Tholian Web

Chekov is a skilled ventriloquist, and can scream without moving his lips.

Edited to Add:

ENT: In a Mirror, Darkly (I & II)

The Admiral Ackbar Award goes to Major Malcolm Reed for shouting "It's a trap!" as a bomb goes off.
