La Sirena

On set....

Fake news!! Picard are actually shot in space....

Then why didn't the Enterprise D computer translate whenever Picard said "merde"?

It's the PG-47 setting. Works on Klingon and Romulan cusswords, too.

Now which parts of the set aren't built into the primary whole? Rios' and Musiker's quarters only? (And of course the Chateau Picard interiors!) Can the quarters fit within the wing structures or not?

The Chateau most definitely isn't. But I would have said that both the quarters we've seen are integrated, only because when the doors were open we could see out into the rest of the ship.

As to whether or not these would realistically fit into the wing structure is another matter.

I think he means specifically the Runabout models in the pictures I posted, are scaled to large compared to the figures in the same shot.

They seem spot on to me, in the lower picture with all the shuttles. Compare the doorway vs. minifigures in those pics to the doorway set vs. Meaney and Siddig here:

O'Brien is stooping to clear that branch, not to clear the doorway.

Also assume minifigures of 1.75m intended height, meaning three of them would amount to five meters. The runabout is about fifteen lying-down figures long... That's a fairly large "small spacecraft", as far as scifi movies and shows go! The Millennium Falcon isn't all that much bigger - and might in fact be a good match for the Sirena.

I've just realised that there must be another room that we haven't yet seen, located behind the sickbay, and accessed via the staircase that is upstairs next to the transporter pad.

Bump! There's a new Ready Room installment that leads with a set tour of La Sirena, which includes some good looks at deck plans and a diorama.

Interesting tidbit: the "hatch" that they exited after the ship crashed was actually a window.

According to the same video, the ship isn't a Federation design, but Rios has retrofitted it with Federation tech.

I swear I’ve seen that ship before in a starfighter manual (non Trek) about 30 years ago

Eureka!

Anybody remember that other FASA ship game called “Renegade Legion?”
ESP the TOG craft known as the Spiculum and the Ictus?

Do a search including the term fandom and tell me what you find.

Then too, I’m convinced, that Sputnik III was the first Dalek so...

SFB Lyran designs also look similar

I guess it just means the design is... kinda generic.
