I'm not sure if the lead photo in that article is from production of Season 1 or Season 2, but it shows a Klingon that clearly only has two nostrils instead of that weird multi-nostril thing going on with T'Kuvma, L'Rell, Voq, et al.

I don’t think comparing the races of a species confined to a single planet to those of a species spread to multiple planets over generations or why it would be limited to skin color just because it does for us..
I'm not a fan of the Expanse, but isn't it a thing that humans have adapted some to living on Mars or in space. I think I read something about people who live in space are taller on average and have trouble dealing with Earth gravity.True. We haven't begun to settle other worlds, though we will soon. It seems likely that over only a few generations Martians, while still largely genetically human will have to have certain augmentations to allow them to live adaptably to life in a lower gravity world, and would in many ways resemble another species. That might only be in 100 to 200 years time, and the same could be true if we colonize other worlds. Humanity has stayed the same most likely because Homo Sapiens Sapiens was bottled up in a small area for awhile and spread out so rapidly. Humans took the reins on the evolutionary process. If the species had been isolated for longer periods of time, maybe adaptations would have been far more diverse than the relatively small diversity seen now. There are hints of it, such as the original natives of Tierra Del Fuego.
It was still there in late DS9 or the TNG movies, my screen cap of his nose he was wearing the grey TNG movie uniform.I hate to say this, but I always presumed they initially put the nose prosthetic on Micheal Dorn for the same reason they gave him a straight wig - to make him look "less black" - basically by covering up the bridge and building it up a bit, giving him more of a beaky nose. They then followed suit with the other Klingons.
Regardless, that crease on the nose of Worf largely vanished by DS9.
How is that possible? It's awwweeessooommeee!I'm not a fan of the Expanse

Oh no way. It's got mystery, espionage, a lot of world building, action, kick-ass space battles, amazing acting (for the most part), amazing space battles, great source material and did I mention cool space battles?I don’t like it either. It’s like Outland but duller.
It just didn't hook me. I have a friend who is obsessed with it, but I just couldn't get into it. I don't think it's bad, it just isn't my thing. How is that possible? It's awwweeessooommeee!
It could be a cultural thing, especially since most of the Klingons we saw were connected to T'Kuvma and could say they're like a religious sect that shaves all hair.Oh I do hope they start giving them hair again. I don’t even need an explanation, just one day, let them have hair again.

I never got past like episode 2 or so, but I've heard from a friend that the books are better, so I might check them out in The Future.
Well, it's THE captial F future! Not just some random future. The one and only future!I like that approach to capitalisation.
Yeah, you may want to binge watch first 3 season right before Amazon's season 4 (which supposedly will be without regular cable tv limitation) airs sometime in 2019. The Future is near-ish...I never got past like episode 2 or so, but I've heard from a friend that the books are better, so I might check them out in The Future.
Or maybe it’s just treatment for an outbreak of Klingon head lice. A warrior has no need of a nit comb, better to face the medicated bat’leth with honour. It could be a cultural thing, especially since most of the Klingons we saw were connected to T'Kuvma and could say they're like a religious sect that shaves all hair.
