Not on German Amazon. On German Amazon, video has you available in short order. Or was that Soviet Russia?

In Soviet Russia they use bittorent (they sure as hell don't pay for any english programming, sad but true). Good thing we don't use such evil and illegal tools here in the civilized world.

A little late to the party here. I think the producers of DSC heard the freak out from fans and will rectify the Klingon appearance. The Sarcophagus ship Klings will likely be a small slice of the Klingon Genetic Pool. We will end up with Klingons that look markedly more similar to the TNG version than the DSC S1 version. Essentially the Sarcophagus Klings and the like are probably freaks and outcasts. I believe we will even see their costumes normalized to a significant degree. I mean they have to make Worf look like Worf in the TNG sequel. It'll be interesting to see if they do the same with ships and technology. DSC paints a more fragmented version of the the Klingon Empire than I imagined previously with each "house" having their own unique ships, look, etc.

The problem I have with the "Season 1 Klingons were just all shaving their heads ritually" explanation is this:

How did L'Rell continue to shave her head while in the Discovery brig with her arms secured in some sort of handcuffs?

Maybe she had some kind of permanent hair removal done on her scalp instead of shaving, and it never grew back.

Well, she was only in captivity for, what?, a few days? Maybe Klingon hair doesn't grow that fast.

    Only during Jak'tahla...:klingon:

...and then it seems everything grows fast, judging by the example of Alexander!

Actually, what was referred to were the Geneva Protocols, which are not the same thing. And if the Conventions persist, then either they don't apply to the Klingons, or were modified to drop their current prohibition on booby-trapping the dead, or else Saru and Georgiou approve of their violation!

When the first opening minutes of "Broken Bow" featured a Klingon running in a cornfield, my heart kind of sank. I like Klingons, but they were played out by DS9. Instead of Klaang, it should have been Shran. What better way of opening up your TOS prequel than reintroducing the Andorians?

Although, I do like that the ENT Klingons did not use the TMP/TNG era armour.

I have to imagine they'd have been worn out after 20 years of use. It would have been so off-putting to see them wear them in ENT.

    Cohagen! Give dis people hair!

I'm always surprised at how much time Star Trek devotes to explaining Klingon appearances. Maybe it's because 50 years later were still rehashing the TOS days.
