Karl Urban -- blond or brunet?

Agh! Don't say things like that! *shudders* Heck, I don't to see any of the main characters die.

If its one thing the next movie needs is more McCoy.

Besides...they proved that this is a new universe by obliterating Vulcan, right...right?

I don't think either of us has seen the best part then! Looking at the beginning of each of them to get the links - I think the Q&A session is in the later parts.

I love Crusher Disciple's avatar - feeling av envy.

I hope there is more Doc in the next movie. My favorite bits included the Doc.

Were we discussing Bruce Greenwood in this thread -- or the poll thread? Anyway, he doesn't have a thread, but I'd like to say I got that potboiler, "Treacherous Beauties," from Amazon and watched it again last night. If there are any Bruce fans here, I highly recommend it. It will definitely irritate your glands.

Welcome! I'm definitely hoping for more McCoy in the next movie too. Not just for the eye candy either - I'd like to see Karl Urban carrying some of the plot.

Jeri - more than happy to have Bruce Greenwood discussion here too. Pike's definitely number two on my list of adorable men in Trek ;)

I was watching The Chronicles of Riddick yesterday and Urban and his necromonger haircut and armor was in it

Awesome av- much better than the washed out look they gave Galia. :bolian:

As a redhead myself, I have to say I LOVE it. She looks like she could kick Nero's a$$ (plus all his minions) in your version, SalvorHardin. Thumbs up from me as well.

Re: Riddick, I'm gonna have to get used to the hair. Ewwwie.

And re: Bruce Greenwood, who I've always liked ever since I saw him on an episode of "Road to Avonlea" as a mysterious loner several years ago. The other night I saw him in a silly 1986 comedy called "Malibu Bikini Shop." He played your typical-beach-movie irresponsible partier, one of two brothers who inherited a bikini shop. He was so young, and while he was cute, I much prefer his older self. But it was funny to see him ogling a topless woman changing in a dressing room that he had outfitted with a two-way mirror. Captain Pike, you bad boy!

I was rummaging around in the basement last night, in our dusty stacks of DVD's, and it turns out we have Riddick. I may have to scope that out one night.

It's fantastic, isn't it?

Take a look at the Star Trek photoshop thread that SalvorHardin started here. It's got a larger version of his av, and a new career role for Gaila!

Thank you very much for your kind words :)

I just heard about that one today! He's got absolute STACKS of movies on DirecTV. I have the TiVo looking for his name, and I don't even know where to start. There's a long list. I'm just afraid I will have to sit through a lot of dross to get to his bits.

If they're all as mindless as "Malibu Bikini Shop," pretty soon your brain will melt and you won't care anyway. :guffaw:

I love Salvor Hardin's av. Crusher Disciple's makes me smile every time.

I may have to check out Chronicles of Riddick thanks to this thread. :rommie:

I think they actually are not, judging from fan comments at his IMDb message board. He's got stacks of fans, too; and they seem to adore him. It sounds like he's in some good productions; some people sounded disgruntled he didn't get an oscar for playing JFK.
