Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley developing Star Trek reboot for Paramount

Left a bad taste in my mouth, PIC bringing back characters just to kill them off . Icheb, Hugh, Ro, Shelby. I remember wanting PIC to bring back Naomi Wildman, I'm glad they didn't now! They'd have offed her in some way .

I recall reading it in an article way back when season 3 was coming out, but google searches now are just spammed with info about the final episode with that name. I can't remember how legit the article was, perhaps it was clickbait nonsense:shrug:
IIRC, Matalas wanted to rename the third season Star Trek Legacy, but Paramount wouldn't allow it. Since the title was unused, he used it for his proposed spinoff, which clearly hasn't gained any traction.

He came back in "The Next Generation" 's post-credit sequence.

It's taken eight years for Starfleet Academy to hit the airwaves.

You want something done with P+, you have to play the long game.
