Is Janeway an example of the 'mother bitch woman in power' trope?

Catrina has an interesting decision to make, or more accurately, there is an interesting decision that you, Teacake, can make for her, because you're obviously in charge, but should Catrina start with BSG or Caprica?

(Caprica is a prequel set 50 years before BSG but produced after BSG.)

The ONLY reason people like Caprica is because it is the same universe as BSG.

I feel the same way about The Cage which is boring crap but, Star Trek. Though if it was Origin Star Trek made after TOS I would be more fond of it just like I was stupidly fond of Blood and Chrome even though almost nothing happened in that but ice chases. But they did it for me, like they did Caprica for me, because my love made them strong.

The Great Teacake has spoken!

Real world chronological production order should be respected.

:)

Personally I always start a Babylon 5 rewatch with the prequel movie "In the Beginning" and in my dvd folder, Enterprise comes before Star Trek (TOS), but then I do have a difficult relationship with time.

Del Varner is the Most dangerous man in the universe?

Pull the other one!

(He wasn't even the most dangerous man on Enterprise, even though he knocked Archer on his ass at least 4 times!)

Season One is mostly shite.

In the Beginning is a life boat full of hope that will help them weather shit like TKO and Believers which would other wise make any sane human being think that I am an asshole for suggesting they give the show a try.

Although...

%95 of the times I have forced people to adopt Babylon 5 as a religion, it was before In the Beginning had been released.

Imagine if some poor shmuck watched Crusade first?

Believers is the only episode I skip. Even though boxing eps are one of my big hates in sci fi, along with Jack the Ripper eps (other than Wolf in the Fold of course, that is allowed) I don't skip TKO because I'm just not a skpper. But Believers is deeply bad.

In the Beginning is a life boat full of hope
In the Beginning is the spoiler to end all spoilers and should never be consumed before watching the entire series. The beauty of Bab 5 is it has no real fandom in the internet sense and you can watch it and never worry you're going to stumble across a spoiler as long as you don't watch the huge ass spoiler the show suddenly spewed out for the unwary.

So did In the Beginning.

HA!

I'm watching this failed drama from the early nineties with a character in it called "Mike Chulak" which has been rubbing me the wrong way for 4 episodes now.

Chulak is the Homeworld of Teal'C from Stargate SG1. :D

Destructor left the conversation a while back, but do you think that we helped his facebook problems at all?

I am watching a failed 90s drama called Second Chances.

While trying to confirm some data, I accidentally found the IMDB page for an 80s sitcom called Second Chance.

Dead Old Matthew Perry, refused entry to heaven, is sent back in time by God to advise young Matthew Perry how to lead a better life, so that "he" can have a do-over and get into Heaven on his second try.

The pilot is on you tube. :)
