The choices are fewer? Dude, I don't know about you but I have far greater access to human knowledge than even in graduate school and able to do things I never thought possible in my 20s, much less my 40s.
Can we just go to the hockey game? I don't really like Iron Maiden nor care to watch Garak on DS9, and I know he is a favorite character of yours![]()
I agree when it comes to knowledge thanks to Internet and the fact that everything is accessable when it comes to finding information.
But entertainment sucks due to facts I've mentioned earlier.
You don't like Iron Maiden and you don't like Garak?

The I guess that some time travel to the future and visit a well-known space station where this incredible singer performs at Quark's or Vic's Lounge from time to time is out of the question.

Run toooooooooo the hiiiiiiiiiiiiillls! Run fooor yoouur liiiiiiife!
But the 60's were at least an optimistic era with a lot of good music! The writers were preoccupied with answering the question, "How do we fill our order of 26 episodes?"
There is good and bad in every era (The 60s had hippies, the Summer of Love, the Watts Riots, and the Manson Family murders all within the same decade!)
There was violence even in the 60s. The violence in The Wild Bunch (1969) and Bonnie and Clyde (1967) was shocking for its day.
As for The Wild Bunch, I can agree when it comes to violence but Bonnie And Clyde wasn't that violent, not more than the average action movie or series in the 90's
And both movies were free from gore, sadistic violence, torture scenes and exaggerated action scenes we have today, not to mention the overall gloomy atmosphere.
Looks interesting.Missed this before. Mediocre video game that has its charms. Shooting bad guys and learning the mysteries of the Artifacts.
My favorite action game is Ed Hunter for understandable reasons.
Somewhat mediocre graphics but quite fun and lot of Iron Maiden music.
The second level almost broke me!
After fighting my way through the streets of London, fighting skinheads and punks who tried to shoot me or throw bottles at me, the next level was a nuthouse in which I encountered doctors throwing poison-filled test tubes at me and patients in straitjackets who were throwing teddybears at me.

The first time I played the game and reached that level, I startet to laugh so much at the whole scenario that I was "killed" and had to restart the game.
I prefer games on PC.While not LEGO, I am excited for the release of Madden NFL 26 on Xbox, later today.
There was a point where Star Trek was all-encompassing in my life. I should honestly be thankful to CBS for breaking my addiction to Trek.
I have an older hockey game which still works on PC. The advantage is that it's possible to do some "modding" in it in order to add at least one team which weren't there from the start and have classic designs for some teams. Not to mention having advertisement-free jerseys for European teams!
