I'd be surprised if they start yet another show unless they cancel another. If they spread themselves too thin they could suffer diminishing returns both in terms of talent and in audience retention.

Depending on how things shake out, I suppose it's possible that they could free up a spot by merging 'Luke Cage' & 'Iron Fist into' a 'Heroes for Hire' show in lieu of a second season for each.

A Heros for Hire show with Luke, Danny, Misty and Colleen would be a natural, and it would open up a slot for Punisher.

OK, now that I've had a chance to see it on a bigger screen...

Is that Madame Gao from Daredevil at .22-.23? The heroin that she was selling in DD S1 was called "Steel Serpent", which is also the name of one of Danny's arch-foes.

Anyone know who that was doing the narration? It sounded a lot like Hoon Lee, Master Splinter on the current Ninja Turtles animated series, but he's not listed in the IMDb credits for this.

That was a cool trailer. I'm actually shocked they gave him the actual "Iron Fist" power, and the chest tattoo as well. %That's a bit closer to the comics then Marvel's Netflix division is usually comfortable with, but I'm glad they actually did it. I'm hoping that they got the right people to make the fights really cool (and don't hide the fights in shadow like Daredevil liked to do most of the time).

We've already gotten some pretty cool fight scenes in the other Marvel series, so I'm very curious to see what we get on this one since martial arts are such a huge part of the story.

Marvel Netflix doesn't even like giving their heroes their full power set, so I'll take Iron Fist actually having the Iron Fist and consider myself lucky. At least they didn't cut his power levels in half like they did with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Wishing for anything else is tempting fate at this point (not that I was expecting the costume anyway, I think they regret giving Daredevil his costume as it is, no way we'd get any kind of costume for any other Netflix hero at this point).

They did? Shit, I thought he was too overpowered for the Netflixverse as it was. Other than the plot bullet there was nothing that could really stop him.

Well, they introduced the mystical side of Marvel in Daredevil season 1 when he tried to resuce that kid from The Hand and went full mystical in season 2 when he started to fight The Hand in the second half of the season so Danny Rand actually having his own superpower is now not too far out.

It's still not a Norse God throwing around a magical lightning Hammer or a guy building a honking high tech flying armor suit so i think Netflix still operates at the street level even with the Iron Fist making an appearance.

However i hate the curly hair on Finn Jones that he brings to Danny Rand and i now it's a petty and childish notion I still am looking forward to see where they take the show and am curious how much they will go with the character and backstory given that he's trained to defeat The Hand (i expect many hallway fight scenes even more spectacular than the already awesome fights of Daredevil).

Between this, Netflix punisher officially starting shooting a few days ago and The Defenders in 2017 it promises to be a very good year for Netflix and the fans of their shows. I have just recently seen Suicide Squad and it's the absolute antithesis to the Marvel approach and no one should wonder why Suicide Squad disappointed fans and critics alike because people are now used to the Marvel approach who are doing it right consistently.

They did not. It's about on par with the comics or at least in proportion. Broadly speaking Luke is supposed to be much stronger than the average human, but still an order of magnitude less than the likes of Hulk & Thor who can level skyscrapers with their bare hands.
Of course it's not entirely quantifiable since it's all about what's dramatic, exciting and aesthetically interesting in a scene, but generally speaking Luke is about on par with Jessica (as we saw for ourselves) and Peter Parker. While the likes of Steve Rogers & Matt Murdock are less strong as they're "merely" at peak human strength.
I think with the exception of his punch, Danny rand is a little below even then.

There's other factors at play other than pure strength of course. Peter for example is very smart and extremely agile with reflexes that rival Matt's, but he's young and inexperienced.
Luke presumably has some basic military and police hand-to-hand training so he knows how to handle himself while despite being though significantly more agile that Luke, Jessica is a straight-up bar brawler and by no means as tough.

Have they ever said that about Captain America in the films? Because many of his acts of strength are way beyond what humans are capable of - peak or not.
