I want to see the Andorian of discovery!

I have a pair of pants that, under fluorescent light, are undeniably green. In natural light (and many other non-fluorescent lights), they are brown (of varying shades depending on light sources). Same could easily apply here with Andorian hair.

Yes to a recurring Andorian guest crewman character or two please. I'm less enamoured of Tellarites but it would be cool. Issues with too many prosthetics per episode but a couple of guest shots per season would be awesome. A Deltan would be more low maintenance. Tilly would have made a great Deltan personality wise actually.

For a show that supposedly made its mark based on its diversity, many Star Trek fans seem squeamish about it. They constantly promote that gays and transgender folks are "fixed" in the future. Don't want the series to tackle issues of race or religion.

Star Trek was a mirror about what was going on in the world of the 1960's, from Hippies to Vietnam. If it wants to make its mark in the here and now, new versions need to tackle the problems of today, no matter how distasteful some folks find it.

Star Trek is about us. Religion is just as much part of humanity as race, gender and sexuality. Whether anyone likes it or not.
I really hope that humans within hundreds of years will overcome religion, an atheistic or agnostic society. there are very religious aliens like Klingons that can be the religious reference and that clashes with the lack of belief in deities that humans have

my problem is that I'm starting to have a dislike in seeing humans all the time, it's as if I saw movies where there are only white people!
the federation is an intergalactic state founded by four alien races but it seems that there is only a human majority and a minority Vulcan.

That basically how it worked from TNG onwards.
In Disco the Klingons are a metaphor for Islamic extremist fundamentalists. We don't need to bring the real world religions into it.

Even Orville, a show produced by and starring a man who goes out of his way to remind everyone he hates religion still has human religions existing in the 25th century.

That really isn't realistic. Religious beliefs have existed in some manner since the dawn of humanity, they aren't just going to wash away in the next two-to-three hundred years.
the humans of the federation are tall that many of their religions are in reality inspired by aliens, I suppose that for many people in the future they would think that jesus or buddha were aliens.

but that has nothing to do with the topic!

I want to see the Andorian crewman !!
