Spoilers How do you want Picard season 3 to end?

I wonder if Picard is going to somehow end up in his old body and die again due to his illness, however this time surrounded by his friends and family. His son gets uploaded into the synth body and gets reset to his own image, therefore allowing him to avoid the illness and its side effects.

They'll have to do some serious technobabble to pull that off. A resurrected organic Picard wouldn't remember anything that happened in Seasons 2 and 3, including that he has a son.

I'd like it to end with the confirmation that this is not the prime universe and these are not the same characters from TNG.

True, but Star Trek has never shied away from using technobabble. Probably would involve the new Data hybrid and their knowledge.

If they want to do fan service, I really don't see why they don't give Seven a bigger role. She carried Voyager for several years. It really just feels like she has become a stage prop. She doesn't do much if anything, doesn't have much interesting to say. They didn't even care enough about her relationship to give her a break up scene.
They are just using her the way Berman always intended.

Vadic-revived Picard: Ok, which one of us goes with Beverly and which one of us goes with Laris?

Synth Picard: Technically Laris started a relationship with me, even though she thought I was you, so I should go with Laris.

Vadic-revived Picard: Fine, I'll go with Beverly.

Crusher: Get away from me you creep! I don't want you! Either of you! Why do you think I hid Jack from you in the first place? Computer, one to beam up! And get me the hell out of here!

Computer: Please specify the destination you would like to--

Crusher: I don't care, anywhere away from Picard, both of them!

(beams away)

The series ends with the Picards fighting over who stays with Laris.

It's all a holodeck program run by Archer and T'Pol and it ends with Archer declaring: "Now let's go save Trip."

Not that I care about Enterprise, but I feel like that'd be on brand given all the references they make and you have to go full circle. :p

Back at the real Ten Forward bar, Picard, Shatner Kirk, Pine Kirk, Adama, John Crichton, Malcolm Reynolds and Han Solo have drinks and share stories.

Picard and co. rescue Riker and Troi, and steal Picard's original body back from Vadic before Frontier Day, never learning what she wanted to do with it, but the Shrike escapes.

Vadic: Those fools. Just as the quantum tunneler was a distraction for another target, Picard's body was ALSO a distraction for another target. Do we have what we need from our scouts in the Delta Quadrant?

Changeling 2: We do indeed.

Vadic: This will be a Frontier Day to remember.

Frontier Day --

Admiral Harry Kim is about to make a speech. Vadic appears.

Vadic: Everyone, Admiral Kim is an impostor! I have the body of the real Harry Kim, dead, and still in an ensign's uniform!! (cue everyone looking up Voyager episodes to try to remember when this happened)

Mass chaos ensues and the changelings easily conquer the Federation.
