I'm not sure what to make of that. It's so dark, but it was awesome hearing Nimoy's Trek mantra again. Hopefully the official one turns on the lights a little.

I am guessing it is so dark because it is a cam shot. I suppose the real one via streaming might be a little better. It can not be worse quality.

Can't wait to see it on the big screen. I like that it makes Trek seem more plausible from our standpoint, as if we are truly tied to that future.

Can you comment on the audience's reaction? I hoping the general public is willing to give this movie a chance despite the science fiction factor.

11:20 AM show, and the theater was mostly empty. There were maybe 50 people in the place, and we were all pretty quiet throughout the ads, trailers (ie, ads) and movie itself. Don't mean nuthin'.
