The trend of adding footage for TV broadcast had waned and largely stopped by the late 80s.

at least Biggs can sort of be forgiven because photos from those scenes were included in the Scholastic Star Wars Storybook (which every kid in 1977/1978 owned), so it’s sort of understandable that people might have Mandela’d his existence

This is interesting. From the estate of one of the costume designers is some jewellery from the end of Star Trek 3. There's also some behind the scenes pictures, 1 of which I've never seen before.

I could just see Sisko holding the narrowest part of the Bajoran Orb "hourglass" between the gap of the two "paddles" of the Stone....that might allow him not just to keep the Dominion out of the Wormhole, but render the whole fleet useless.
