Grade "Cogenitor"

Great episode. A-

Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory solely on account of Archer's complete and utter hypocracy. Otherwise, superb. Well above par for Enterprise, and up there with other series. It wasn't really an episode unique to the prequel setting, but that takes nothing away from a fine episode.

D

More recycled crap from B&B... we have seen this all before with the Photonic rights from Voyager and TNG'S "Outcast."

And why is everyone so suprised with the ending... didn't you see it coming. Archer is hypocritical as if he doesn't make mistakes... as far as I know The Prime Directive doesn't exist yet!

I was hoping that Trip would tell Archer to goto hell! And take his self-rightious attitude and shove it.

But no Trip just stands there... Yes Captain... and next week they will be the best of friends again fighting the Borg!

A+.

Well written, acted and directed. I liked the ending, not quite a twist one, and Archer's reprimand seems to be more of a beginning of the prime directive than Dear Doctor.

Because of all the positive reviews I read written by my friends I put aside my Berman boycott. I watched this ep.

My grade...A huge A+. Finally...a Star Trek episode. Finally...some consequences because of a flawed, arrogant, unthinking, impulsive human. Nicely done B&B!! Nicely done!

***WOW***
As I watched the episode I kept my fingers crossed hoping that at the last minute we wouldn't find out that the aliens are really "tricking us and trying to take over the ship".

I was very pleasantly suprised to find out there really is one nice species out there to meet.

This was perfect TREK.

Please guys, more episodes like this. No more evil aliens trying to capture Enterprise, no more "ship in danger". Deal with people.

Catwalk could have been an outstanding episode of people in close quarters dealing with stress. It was ruined by the appearance of evil alien race number 427.

This time they got it perfect. Keep it up, episodes like this will save the series.

Bravo

Awesome episode guys! I just about missed it due to other stuff and didn't think it would be that big a deal since I thought it would be a lighter episode that I could catch later but it turned out to be quite emotional! Good to see it getting the praise it deserves.

A+

Archer is emotionally torn: he knows he's set a bad example, but he feels so guilty and upset at Tucker for being as stupid as he is that the poor man hides behind his pride. Trip is stunned--heck, I'm torn! I don't think a Trek episode has gotten to me emotionally as this one did in a long time! Heck, I'm STILL in shock over how good it was...

Bingo! You've hit it on the head....Archer's pride collides with his realization of what "they've" done. Some of you might want to rewatch those scenes and try to remember that they are friends as well as Captain/Commander. Archer's anguish and anger are as much about how his example has lead Trip to commit this transgression as it is about the transgression itself.

I was in tears at the end....something that doesn't usually happen with Star Trek. I, too, hope we see this rift between the two explored sometime in the future.

A solid A+........Bakula was fantastic.

For the first 55 min, it was a c+ at best. The last 5 min were A++. The Archer speech was a tad :p hypocritical, but a very powerful scene. I wonder if this is an incident that will give old Johnny a bit of an edge, or will it be business as usual the next time?

I'm still in shock that B & B scribed that last scene

Your episode was 55 minutes long? Cool. Mine are only about 42 minutes without commercials.
