Fine, on topic then: the budget used for Thunderbolts should have been used to make a proper Blade movie.
Cuz the Thunderbolts, like Eternals, were not wanted by the audience.

It's worth keeping in mind most the characters kills and other questionable actions were all parts of black ops operations, so the public probably doesn't even know about most of what they've done. The only one who's bad deeds were definitely public was John, but who knows what kind of story Valentina could have made up to convince people to forgive or excuse what he did.

But that must not be too much of an issue for people since he was elected to Congress. He does at least have the excuse that he was brainwashed at the time.

Yeah, I could see that working for people.

Wow, I literally feel the complete opposite in everyway. I love the 24th Century, DS9 is my absolute favorite series, I like Voyager quite a bit, and except for a few good episodes, I prefer the later seasons of TNG. But then again, now that I noticed your avatar, I guess I should realize that there is absolutely no way we could ever agree on anything.

I'm a TOS dude, and prefer the action adventure sci fi plots of the earlier seasons, when it still resembles TOS. It peaks at the best of both worlds imo.... The later stuff just lacks a fun factor. I'm sure there are a lot of things in life we could agree on.

I made it pretty far into DS9 during first-run, because I know I saw the tribbles tribute episode when it aired, and is one that i have often revisited, but I know I missed the bulk of the dominion war. DS9 is kind of collateral damage with my dislike for the rest of the 24th, which solidified after Generations.

I would absolutely love another Wesley Snipes Blade movie, and hopefully with the multiverse stuff, that can happen. I'm not sure if the other one has been put out of its misery officially yet, but its gone through enough changes, rewrites and behind the scenes drama that I will be surprised if it makes it out any time soon, if at all.

I didn't watch Eternals, but from my understanding, it had a miniseries worth of ideas crammed into one movie and was doomed to failure.

It really is hard to take opinions about Star Trek seriously from someone who would put that man in a Starfleet uniform.

I could heavily refute this with logic and reason, but it would derail the thread too much. If you really want to have that conversation, I am open to it elsewhere.

Re Taskmaster the only think I'm glad about is that they did bring Olga Kurylenko back at least so she got a payday of sorts. They could have easily just kept the mask on and had some stunt double the whole time.

Re them being killers I guess the point is that the general public do tend to have short memories, even with someone like Walker who was literally caught on camera beating someone to death.

Plus before everyone got voided there were multiple instances of the Thunderbolts saving people's lives that I'm guessing were caught on camera and that would have counted for a lot and even thought it might not be obvious that the Thunderbolts defeated (sorta) Sentry, their presence in the middle of the conflict would heavily imply they had a hand in it.
