It originated from the Voyager video game 'Elite Force' released in 2000.
Appears very briefly in the prologue of the sequel as well.

I've had STO for a few years but only recently started doing the missions after the intital intro stuff. TBH, I haven't a clue what I'm doing or the best way to upgrade ships etc, but it passes a few hours. Any tips would be appreciated.
