I have no idea. Back just before "Axiom" came out, people were saying STO was just going off into its own timeline, but I don't know if that was the creators' words or just audience assumption. Nothing in "Axiom" addressed the discrepancy; the episode just referenced Hugh's PIC season 1 backstory.

Yep. Which I think at one time he pitched to Paramount as a potential movie idea to bring Kirk back after GEN (something I still believe he regrets) and couldn't get it off the ground.

So what's going on with Hugh in the game? Did his death in Picard still happen and he somehow survived it or is his Picard death just not canon to the game?

They pick and choose what story elements they want to take from the 24/5th century shows since they're very incompatible with their backstory.

The mission Axiom does have dialogue from Hugh that references the events on the cube in Season 1, but it's not clear if he died and came back, or just didn't die at all.

There's also a line where he mentions 'Romulan shadow knives', the kind that killed him in Season 1, but I don't have an image of that.

There's also unique dialogue from him if you're playing as a liberated borg

When i get this ship, the first thing i am going to do is put a consumable holo emitter on it, then while this ship is using its holographic console, i will use a consumable holo emitter, and BANG, explosion and implosion at the same time......which in theory break the entire game. lol

It has the Proxima-Class from Star Trek: Legacy, and the Okinawa-Class from Star Trek: Starfleet Command. With Sto creation ranger also getting included as the Warden-Class (sto refit) and ranger 2 (TMP refit)

That trailer reminds me that the TOS look is definitely as good today as it ever was.
