The no announcement makes perfect sense as they only want to majorly promote the newest live action offering.

The question is why doesn't the rest of the Disco crew? I mean, aside from the obvious that staying in the future is how they Fix Canon.
Of course, S31 is the organization that knows how to build timesuits. They might not have the secrets of the spore drive down pat, but they can easily duplicate or improve upon the suit. Perhaps they go wild with time travel for a while?
Maybe they start the Temporal Cold War.
