Spoilers Game of Thrones - Season 7

No spoilers in this for episode 4 btw-

http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/game-o...game-of-thrones-littlefinger-useless-villain/

Fun little article. I did use to think Littlefinger was a devious cunning guy, how he's set most of the events in the show in motion. But it is true what that article says really, what has he actually gained from it? It'll be interesting to see where it develops, hopefully something worthwhile for his sake. Not like anyone even trusts or likes him anyway

@StarMan - Spoilers aren't coming... they're already here and you posted several. Please don't do it again, or it's a warning. Comments to PM

That ... was an absolute cracker.

Drogon is basically a shuttlecraft phaser. HOLY FUCK.

"We can hold them off".

"What happened?" -- "Many things". :D

Arya vs. Brienne was brilliant, along with the curious/concerned looks of Sansa and Littlefinger. The Starks are an interesting mix now, so it'll be interesting to see how Littlefinger will use these reunions to his agenda. As for agendas, Bran is - perhaps - just sticking around for Jon.

I hope Arya gets to see Jon again.

Again, it was a cracker episode and it's great to watch all these characters split apart reuniting. Thought it was poignant when Tyrion saw his brother on the opposite side of the battle field. I had hoped they'd see each other eye to eye.

Given the pace of the show previously it's almost disconcerting how quick things are moving.

@Ethros, don't forget the statue of limitations for spoilers is 6 months, as you can find in the pinned post in the forum index. That means episodes 1-3 would still be covered by that constraint.

@Neroon: After posting last night I woke up this morning and realised the big whoops I made. I'll pay more attention to the spoiler rules.

@Everyone: Really sorry for the thoughtless blabbing. You would have thought I'd have paid attention to the prior *no spoilers* remarks. I normally chime in once everything's out in the open and wasn't thinking. Sorry - got a bit too excitable. *face palm*

It was already at King's Landing, moments before the attack Randall Tarly rides up to Jaime and delivers the report that the gold has arrived there which is a shame because it would have turned the entire war on its head and put Cersei on the back foot again but then she now has lost supplies to feed her army and she has apparently lost her most valuable adviser and commander (though he surely won't drown but chances are high he'll be captured alongside Bronn).

If it comes to it the meeting between Jaime, Bronn and Tyrion should be pretty interesting ;)
I wonder what
Cersei will say when she finds out her brother did not kill her son.

I figure not much.. she has hated him way before Joffrey died and unfortunately for Tyrion Joffrey humiliated and insulted him enough in public to make him a prime suspect. I just want to know if and when the prophecy comes true and she will be killed by her brother (rather unspecific) ;)

Huh? I don't know why my name is being mentioned or being referred to?

So we can't talk about anything in Season 7 episodes 1-3, that have already aired, for six months without spoiler code? Even in this thread?? Haha, erm, what? Literally every single post will have to be spoiler code

Hey, it happens.

A world of no. :D

This thread is clearly marked with a giant red spoiler tag, if one's not watching the show, one should stay away. Leaks and future spoilers should be spoiler tagged, but anything that aired can be discussed openly, the literal second it airs. :techman:

Where do we stand on things that George RR Martin has said in interviews? He recently made a remark about the nature of a certain character that I would love to discuss. I will put it in a spoiler code but I would like to know if it is a considered a spoiler or not

Beric Dondarrion is not truly alive. His heart does not beat, his blood does not flow, he is a wight that is reanimated by fire instead of by ice

Well, exactly (I was being sarcastic.) So I don't get why I was semi-told off and singled out for writing a post that said "this doesn't have any spoilers for the unaired ep4 btw". Like wtf?

I though Arya would take the dagger from Littlefinger but it turned out to be quite different.

Love seeing Arya vs Brienne.

Drogon should have zigzagged more.

Why did Bran say he saw Arya at the Crossroads but not mention The Twins?

I can't wait to have a working computer again because, holy shit, tonight's episode deserves to be seen on a bigger screen than an iPhone.

That was a glorious battle, even if it was and very decisive. We've some small but incredible moments with the dragons but nothing like this. And I stand corrected on the capability of spear crossbow (or whatever it's properly called). I hadn't considered it being on a swift pivot, although I do wonder about the quick mechanics of reloading it. Bronn made it look easy but that was largely framing and editing.

Speaking Bronn, I genuinely thought he was going to be literally toast, and while I doubt he would've been able to jump far away enough quickly enough, I'm relieved he survived. For now. I assume he was the one who saved Jaime from his own stupidity. I expected Jaime to spot Tyrion on the hillside although I guess he was kind of distracted, but at least one of the brothers noticed the other. Hopefully we'll get a very strange and awkward reunion between Tyrion, Jaime and Bronn next week.

I'm also relieved that Drogon is relatively safe. He (do dragons here have genders?) might not be able to fly well but at least he's not in critical condition.

We have another case of a large group of people moving quickly within an episode although it's not so bad this time considering Dragionstone isn't that far from King's Landing, which is likewise not that far from Highgarden.

Poor Sansa. She has beautiful but fleeting reunions with her missing siblings only to discover that they both have changed so much that she barely recognizes them. I wonder who she's more disturbed by, creepy Bran or murderess Arya? Both have become even colder than her.

I loved watching Arya's water dancing around Brienne, although I was a bit surprised she credited her skills to No One instead of Syrio. She truly has changed.

I have a feeling Littlefinger isn't long for this world. He knows Arya will likely target so he might be fleeing soon. Especially with the dagger back in play. Speaking of which, I'm not clear on his motivations on giving it to Bran. Most likely Bran knows the truth but Littlefinger won't know that, but I still why bring ignorance out now (and why did he have it on him in the first place)?

I can't wait to see Cersei's smug smirk wiped of her face when she realizes she lost her foodstock and Daenerys has the upper hand again. :D

She can repay the Iron Bank because Jaime was told (by Randyll Tarly?) that the gold had safely arrived at King's Landing. The wagons that were burned probably contained food etc

Sadly, the gold made it, per Randyll Tarly. "All the gold is safely through the gates of King's Landing." This battle seems to have occurred somewhat near King's Landing, since Tarly then mentioned they needed to get the rest of the wagons over the Blackwater Rush before nightfall. The Blackwater is the river that feeds into Blackwater Bay, by which King's Landing is situated.

So yeah, the gold made it, but most of the granaries looted from Highgarden that was meant to keep King's Landing fed during a potential siege is ash, now.
