I just finished the season and it was good, I genuinely liked it! The first episode was the weakest, after that the series improved greatly.
The show is lighthearted and fun, that's so refreshing. It's no Breaking Bad or Veep or Shameless but it's nice have a show for once where everyone is genuinely nice and people are supporting each other. I really hope ot gets a second season

I think Ramona's the best new kid. She started out Kimmie 2.0 but was a sister to DJ's sons two episodes in.
Ramona is great, all the kids are, way better than the original kids who are much more enjoyable to watch now.
But my favorite kid is Max. So adorable!

I'm all for lighter shows, but I prefer smarter less predictable lighter shows. There aren't a lot of shows out there now in the 30 Rock/Office/Parks & Rec/Community vibe which had that fun combination of likability, fun and intelligence. Don't know why after those shows disappeared they weren't replaced by anything.
Just finished the pilot. It's terrible in a very nostalgic kind of way. But I'm still intrigued. I'm anxious to be through with as many callbacks as there were here but I'm sure there'll be a handful. I thought Bure did fine coming back into her part, Sweetin was okay and with Barber, feels like she never left. Saget, Coulier, Stamos and Loughlin were a little too much in my opinion. And Nicky and Alex were just obnoxious. The kids were cute but Max was a little TOO over the top. Ramona seems like she'll be a slightly different version of Kimmy. The plot was what was to be expected and maybe a third of the jokes landed. It was nice to see how well they recreated that house. That was impressive.

Just finished the last episode.
During the bachelorette drunk dialing scene, I actually thought they were setting up a very last second Olsen drop-in with Michelle listening to her messages and doing her patented 
I was kind of disappointed when it didn't happen.
Also, the "You Oughta Know" joke earned a bonafide spit take. They did break the fourth wall an awful lot.

Episode 5, i know it will add some dramatic stuff to the show, but i'm a bit disappointed the writers still seem to think all women want to have babies...
All women don't want to have babies, but it's sad when the choice is taken away from them, sometimes.

This is a big weekend for television. Crouching Tiger, Full House and the Oscars.
Got further than I thought and saw the first five episodes. Guess I'll finish the season today.
I'll echo what's been said already...
- I thought that the first episode reunion would be great but it was actually the weakest episode so far. Once they got that and the second episode out of the way, things were great with just the girls.
- The kids don't interest me and seem forgettable but Ramona is pretty good.
- The Girls' Night Out episode was my favorite. Candace Cameron is certainly very fit.
- Speaking of which, she's a very good lead. Nice to see that she's got a solid career going again. One thing I've also learned about her is that she's a lot more open about sex and sexuality than I thought and a bit of that comes through in this show. She's not afraid to take on a bit of mild material.
- Can't wait to see the rest now that things have picked up. By the way, Bob Saget sounded a bit odd.

Of course! In the world of family sitcoms, everybody wants to grow up, get an office job, have a traditional family and have lots of babies. And everybody who is a jerk when pressed and seeing that they made someone feel back will learn the error of their ways and be their best friend. All women, though attracted to the muscle-head in the beginning, will realize the nerd who is still good enough looking to be on TV just not muscular and is a nice guy is really who should be dating.

Now that I've seen the whole season, I'll reiterate what I said earlier. It's an improvement over the original. That's all I could have wanted from it. I don't know why anyone would be looking for another 30 Rock or Community (two shows I wouldn't watch with a gun to my head) but it should have been obvious this wouldn't be it. It's the girls from Full House in a spinoff. For that, it's a fine show. It's funny and goofy.
Personally, I'd love to know who's idea it was to have a dance number like every other episode. That Bollywood dance number was the best.
There's nothing wrong with the new kids that couldn't have been said about the original kids, and some of us just sat through 13 more episodes of those kids grown up, so obviously those problems aren't ultimate dealbreakers

All right, I watched the whole thing yesterday. I put the pilot on as more of a "I need something to watch while I eat my dinner" thing, and the next thing I knew it was 2am and I was finishing the season finale.
I thought it was great! I agree that Bob Sagat should have been in it more, especially in the final episode (his absence there was kind of bizarre). I loved the characters. I really enjoyed the new kids. I appreciated some of the more adult humor and found myself wondering if that was present in the original show (if it was, it probably went right over my head at the time).
I hope it gets another season. I really enjoyed it.

My wife is a fan, but I remembered it from my childhood and wanted to see how the two were knitted together.
Firstly, the adult characters stayed in that house for 35 years from the start of Full House to the pilot? Wow, they must really like each other. I agree with the "pilot was the weakest episode" point as they would need to find a reason for all the characters to be there and to move the girls into the house and the men out. It did improve with each passing episode, even with shoehorned guest stars (see Hunter Pence), but if it gets season two, it's going to need to make some choices.
The biggest choice is do you continue to try and copy the old formula, which they did in season one with safe stories like Max learns to lie, Jackson/Ramona need a loan to get the virus off DJ's computer or are they going to push the envelop with stories that kids today are actually going to relate to? Cameron-Bure had issues with bulimia in real life. It'd be a great story for Ramona to deal with body image, using that knowledge. Sweetin had problems with addiction after the original series ended. Maybe Stephanie did too, after ending up in the party scene with her DJ'ing. It was alright to bring back every old character/moment from the old series in the first season, but this show is going to suffer if it keeps it that way. Shoving "Holy Chapula's!" down our throats from Max is already annoying. Your kids need to be more than punchlines in this day and age and I didn't see a lot of development outside of what could have been another season of the original.
That being said: drop all the tongue and cheek stuff. We get it: the Olsen twins didn't want to be in the sequel. The pokes they take at them, especially the one in the pilot with the fourth wall break, was just sad.
All that being said, I did laugh more than a few times. What did people who were panning it expect? Everyone involved as quoted it's "for the fans" at least once, so Season 1 was going to be an extension of that. What Season 2 and any other future seasons need to do is grow from the premise and into it's own distinct show.
