No new footage... really? Come on! Give us something, ABC!
I'm not surprised because word has it the first few minutes of the first episode are huge. So huge that they've been tighter than usual when it comes to leaks.
There's not going to be any new footage in the promos.
There's still time to blow up the galaxy!
If they top the opening sequence of "Man of Science, Man of Faith" I'll be VERY impressed. IMO, S3's opening was really cool but not fully mind-shattering, S4's didn't really even try to blow us away, and S5's was along the lines of S3's but more interesting. Ever since the Mysterious Guy doing Everyday Things got out guns and mirrors and then we slowly tracked up the hatch to our heroes, they still haven't quite managed to top that one moment of complete and utter surprise in a season opening teaser. Based on the many directions they could take after last year, hopefully they'll pick the one we haven't thought of yet and make us fans go crazy on a scale not yet seen. Last chance!
I agree D Man. The mouths of my wife and I were wide open. I think the last time that has happened with any television show was when Krycec killed Scully's sister on the X-Files.
Aw I love the first scene of a fresh season. They always manage to intrigue in some way.

The first episode of the last season is titled "LA X". At first I thought, yes, they were succesful in altering the timelines and landed at LAX. But upon hearing that the space was intentional, I'm thinking, latin (used by the others) for "ten". Maybe the plane lands, but 10 people are missing? Every time I try to answer something I'm left with more questions. Bit like the show really!
