Drydocks

I think I have it down now. Thank you.
Preliminary-010b-780094701

My drydock was designed with administration, civilian support and military support all located in the top modular pods.
The pods all have solar collectors on top of them and interlocking nipples between them allowing wide and open passage between pods.
Each pod has 2 decks or is open on the second deck level to the first deck as more of a balcony or mall affect.
The lattice work is designed to support the weight of the modular, repair pods, assistance armatures (not shown here) and lighting systems. The size and mass of these items would require sufficient engineering support especially when the dock is being maneuvered.
The barrel pods are service pods designed to stage all the parts deliveries, assistance drones and transports, EVA staging activity and administration at the actual assembly level.

Posting some new, preliminary drydock development.
These docks are from the mid to late 2200's and were built to predominantly accommodate destroyer size vessels.
The modular aspect however, makes them an easy upgrade to support larger ships as necessary.

I'm excited about the dome pod since it lends so many coll ideas for its use not the least of which being a small forest or open bazar.
