Somebody get Stamets a sonic screwdriverI thought only Doctor Who did that.

Every director the show has had????? Pretty sure it's an acting choice. She's a crier in real life too.
Fair enough, maybe I read a little too much into it.
And that’s just SMG’s acting style, which I don’t mind at all but it certainly doesn’t work for everyone.
Why do you assume that it's Sonequa's doing and not just what the directors are telling her to do?
I like Burnham, but I do hope that now that she's finally captain the focus will shift to Owo, Detmer, Rhys, Bryce, and Nilsson, all of who need more screentime. As I've noted, in past Trek the captains were not the center of every episode. There were tons of episodes were, say, Sisko was hardly involved.
Sure.Let us see where Saru is at. What happens with Gray. How Burnham adapts to command. How Culber & Stamets are.
If need be, then yes. I love what they did with Detmer and Owo this season. Keeping that in line for the next season would be nice. And give the rest of the bridge crew some actual stuff to do.
Sure.

They have a different perspective, I'm sure. One that we can't fully see or understand. I like it when they gush over doing stunts or bits. Makes me think they enjoy their jobs.On a somewhat related note, in one of the ready room's they had the bridge crew on and they were all talking about how trilling and challenging it was to perform their scenes and how the writers did such a great job with their characters and it was like "you all know you're basically part of the set, right"?
Already he is my favorite character if that happens. Well worth it.Maybe in S4, Lt. Bryce will see grudge and comment that he's more of a dog person.
Don't they realize they are working on an abomination before the Lord Roddenberry!?!They have a different perspective, I'm sure. One that we can't fully see or understand. I like it when they gush over doing stunts or bits. Makes me think they enjoy their jobs.
So, they are not allowed to enjoy it at all?On a somewhat related note, in one of the ready room's they had the bridge crew on and they were all talking about how trilling and challenging it was to perform their scenes and how the writers did such a great job with their characters and it was like "you all know you're basically part of the set, right"?

Having done both speaking and non-speaking acting there is a bit more to it than just "Show up and stand there." Non verbal cues mean a lot to many humans and the audience is going to pick up on it.Not so much that, it was more like, they seemed to really embellish the challenges of writing and playing characters with no speaking lines. But then again, I don't know the first thing about acting.

..oh, one more thing I forgot, on a more serious note: More Keyla Detmer, please! But that's just me personally.![]()
I wonder if the fourth season will be split into two halves, if they can't finish it all in time but still want to get something live-action out in 2021?
Not including "That Hope Is You, Part 2" which only came out in 2021 as a technicality.![]()
They've gotta nake Detmer/Owo canon...oh, one more thing I forgot, on a more serious note: More Keyla Detmer, please! But that's just me personally.![]()
