So you find laughing at a person for changing their mind polite and tolerable? He may have had an idea. But they said it how many times that they were not doing TNG redux???? And here we are....lmao...
So much for respect.

Read your last post and tell me that "lmao" doesn't mean laughing at someone for daring to change their mind on it. Stewart decided he wanted to do more with the TNG crew and closer to it, with Picard in uniform. If we didn't have Season 1 and him discovering that he enjoyed that part of the ensemble we don't Season 3.What???
The timelines don't add up. Season 3 finished filming the same month Season 2 started airing, Match 2022.How is it impossible...???
That was the previous showrunners.

Nothing in Season 3 was in reaction to Season 2, end of story.Well you want to know what IS possible. There were two show runners during season 2 and ONE during Season 3.....geez . Just because things are said to be filmed "back to back" DOESN'T mean literally the day after or even the week and that changes in production crew and script cannot happen....which in this case it most certainly did.....
What I find FUNNY is that you think they just up and changed their minds. I'm saying it's more a direct result of fan backlash/input and test audience reactions etc....Read your last post and tell me that "lmao" doesn't mean laughing at someone for daring to change their mind on it. I see nothing funny here.
Hilarious...What I find FUNNY is that you think they just up and changed their minds. I'm saying it's more a direct result of fan backlash/input and test audience reactions etc....
Terry wasn't part of Season 1. So no minds being changed in his head. He probably pitched it to Patrick. What I find FUNNY is that you think they just up and changed their minds.

Not at all. The seasons actually feel very distinctively like the movies, with each adventure not really leading in to the next. You have one adventure and then credits, then another adventure then credits, with each individual showrunner approaching this in kind of stand alone type of fashion. Terry seems to be leaning heavily on the greatest hits style, drawing upon TOS and TNG films, TNG and DS9 history, and weaving a story from his preferred elements of Trek.It seems like the season 3 story was one that Terry had in mind for a while and involved giving the crew a final "movie" sendoff. They may have fixed some things they didn't think worked in season 2 from a production and story standpoint, but the overall story does not appear to be a reaction to season 2.
Had what planned? No making up stuff is thinking they had this planned all along. They did not......Season 3 with the TNG crew is a direct result of poor reception to season 1 and 2.....
wiki viewership said:Whip Media, who track viewership data for the 19 million worldwide users of their TV Time app, ranked Picard in the top 10 original streaming series for U.S. viewership each week the season was released except for the week of the season premiere.[144] Parrot Analytics determines audience "demand expressions" based on various data sources, and the company calculated that Picard was the third-most in demand U.S. streaming series for March 2022 behind Disney+'s The Mandalorian and Netflix's Stranger Things. This was the first time a Paramount+ series appeared in the company's monthly rankings in nine months, and they said the series was 32 times more in demand than the average U.S. streaming series.[145][146] It dropped slightly to 31.4 times more in demand for April 2022, though this made it the sixth-most in demand series on Parrot's list after several new series were released.[147] Picard was the ninth-most in demand series for May 2022, according to Parrot, down to 27.4 times more in demand than the average series. This was behind Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which debuted at fifth place.[148]
IGN seems to reflect some of the assessment here. Starting strong but then dropping.wiki critics said:The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an 85% approval score with an average rating of 7.95/10 based on 94 reviews. The website's critical consensus reads, "Picard gets some backup from franchise fan favorites in a sophomore season that charts a course towards recapturing more of the classical Star Trek spirit and makes it so."[149] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 69 out of 100 based on reviews from 7 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[150]
IGN gave the season a negative review saying, it "might just be the worst season of Star Trek ever produced." The review also stated that although the season "started off in a good place, looking to amend some of the missteps of the show's freshman year ... in attempting to embrace and celebrate the things that fans love about Star Trek, the show fell into the trap of regurgitating old concepts."[151]
Looking the data there was a big drop off after Nepenthe.wiki Critics said:The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an 87% approval rating with an average rating of 7.6/10 based on 253 reviews. The website's critical consensus reads, "Anchored by the incomparable Patrick Stewart, Picard departs from standard Starfleet protocol with a slower, serialized story, but like all great Star Trek it tackles timely themes with grace and makes for an exciting push further into the final frontier." The average rating for the season's episodes is 85%.[122] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 76 out of 100 based on reviews from 27 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[123]
That' hurts...Individual critics seem to fault that season for relying too heavily on nostalgia, being too steeped in lore and have a slow pace. The three things a certain faction of fans are always clamoring for.![]()

Had what planned?
Again, season three was written while two was being filmed and shot right after two wrapped. These are facts. Sorry that they don match up with your fantasy.
Reaction to season two was not all that negative

But according to you changes are IMPOSSIBLE???? WTH???
It was an 8 month shoot for 20 episodes. You don't think they made changes to season 3 scripts In all that time????
Impossible for the changes to have come from audiance reaction.
How could they see audience reactions before the show even aired?I don't think it's impossible at all...
