Is there a way to downgrade back to Windows 7 without losing everything, backing up everything, or doing a hell of a lot of work to prevent from losing files? I've been on Windows 10 since the first big rollout and I don't think I like it anymore. For one, I have to restart my computer a whole lot more than I ever did before. The reason why is for some reason the computer would block me from connecting to the internet (Or it just wouldn't connect despite sitting right under the modem) and it's come to the point where I think the reason why is because they have to "update" stuff. Just what is Windows 10 updating, and why do I need to do this every single day. Hell, a couple days ago I guess there was this massive update and I still don't know what it was for. I wish Microsoft would send you something when you get back into Windows about why they had an update because it's becoming way too much. I never had this problem with Windows 7 and just overall I'm starting to really dislike Windows 10.
Sorry for the tl;dr post, but it's frustrating having to restart the computer every day or having yet another update that I don't know about. I don't think it's virus's because Microsoft wouldn't risk law suits, but I almost feel like the reason it was free was because now you are being held hostage by Microsoft's ineptitude.

You get 30 days from the date of installation to rollback to Windows 7. After that, you're stuck. Though you can check by going to Settings > Updates & Security. There would be a rollback option. If it's not there, you won't be able to do it, and you'll have to install Windows 7 from scratch.

I installed it in July so I guess I am stuck. I guess I'll live with it, but man it's not as good as I originally thought.
I needed this! I've been using a backup program, but it's a bit limited (since it's free), and has a number of significant drawbacks. It's also slower than a donkey cart. Now I wonder why I've never heard of this program?J, reinstall and then use drive snapshot which makes flawless images of your machine.

You'll never have to reinstall a machine again.

Thanks for this by the way.Use third party software. I highly recommend Ashampoo Burning Studio Free. It burns images, music CDs, data CDs/DVDs, and much more.
If you've had it less than 30 days, there is a rollback option in the Settings menu. If after that, then you'll have to reinstall 7.Is there away to remove it and go back to windows 7?
