That is on one hand totally fine, and on the other rubs me as really messed up.Morrison won't address the continuity change in Batman, Inc. He just wants to finish his run in the way he originally intended.
So everybody else's stories gets basically ruined, but Grant Morrison gets to finish his. Because he is special.
Given how Gail Simone's gone to the wall for them with the reboot (to the point where, if Diane Nelson's watching, she [Simone] should be offered an actual PR or editorial position), I'd say she earned a proper ending for Secret Six, rather than the okay-ish mess we got.
On the other hand, Morrison outsells Simone by maybe a factor of two or three (ETA: or, uh, five). So there's a business angle to it that can't really be argued with.
Or can it? Does Morrison outsell Simone, or does Batman outsell Secret Six? 'Cause I just looked up the sales figures on Joe the Barbarian.
Thank you, won't you?
