I suppose that's true, although personally I can't imagine anyone currently working in comics who could resist the urge, or even be allowed to resist the urge, to tell Superman's origin one more bruised and bleeding time. (Bring back the birth matrix? No, I can't work up the enthusiasm.)
Grant Morrison did it the best, but he still gave it a page.

I wonder who's drawing Batgirl, anyway (obviously not Adam Hughes)? Simone is pretty regularly betrayed by lackluster art. She's up there with Morrison on that score.

I'm not familiar with the gentleman, but he seems reasonably okay based on a cursory image search.
For an example of Syaf's work on a street vigilante character not unlike the Huntress, look for a mini-series he did for Dabel Brothers in 2008, C.E. Murphy's Take a Chance.
Also, he did some Gotham City work in Blackest Night: Batman, and he did a good job with the Bat characters.
I think he'll be fine.
I apologize if this has been brought up before...do we know what's happening to Steph? I mean in regards to her future? I assume the assumption is that she'll be killed off or something.

One of my favorite comic book columninst/bloggers is a lady named Jill Pantozzi, who writes for Newsarama. She is a natural redhead who is confined to a wheelchair, so as you may imagine, she felt a special kinship with Barbara Gordon as Oracle.

No, we don't. But we don't know what's happening to Tim, either, unless I've missed something today. Of the current and former Robins, we only know what's up with Dick (Nightwing), Jason (Red Hood), and Damian (Robin).
^ Yeah I'm update to date on the rest of the Bat-Family books. Just Steph, and Tim, and I guess Cassie, although I guess that if Batman Inc is continuing Cassie could continue in her new role. Wouldn't it be mind blowing if it was revealed that

There are some good points in that blog. I can understand how someone in her situation would view this that way. Indeed, I think she makes a good point about Babs as a character.
I'm of two minds on this right now. My instinct actually tracks a lot with Jill's in her blog post. It's not just about Oracle, it's what the character symbolizes in terms of strength over adversity. Still, another part of me is interested to see if Babs becomes the "Bagirl" division of "Batman Inc.", where she is "Batgirl Prime" while Cass is "Hong Kong Batgirl" and Steph temporarily becomes "UK Batgirl" you know? It could be good, it could be bad. Time will tell.
I'm really trying to be open minded about all this, but it still goes against the grain for me personally.
Tim is going to be a stuffed trophy in the Batcave like Jason before him. It's his death thats going to be the impetus for Dick returning as a darker Nightwing. The fact that Tim doesn't have his own book while even Jason Todd has one leans heavily towards the death option.
Connor Hawke's gonna never have existed, isn't he?
(Although the last stuff they did with him was pretty dumb and seemed mainly to be a way to push him further out of the already quite dim Green Arrow spotlight).

He yelled at Ollie. That's pretty cool, although out of character. Granted, I haven't followed Connor for years, inasmuch as he's only been a guest star and unwanted baby for that time period.
You know, I know I've said this before, but all the Silver Age guys--I liked them before they came back to life.
Why would Tim be evil? Jason Todd sort of makes sense. If I got beaten to death with a crowbar, and punched back to life, I'd be mad too.
Is there something I've missed? I know he doesn't like Damian, but (from an in-universe perspective) that's the correct attitude to take.

The reason why I thought about Tim goes back to Fabian Niceza (sp?)'s first Red Robin arc where he had Ra's testing Tim and had Talia go after him. Tim is thought of as a brilliant detective and master computer hacker. He'd be a perfect subject for the Demon's Head to attempt to break. I'm not saying it will happen...in fact I'm really stretching. Otherwise aside from Ra's I've no idea who Leviathan could be.

LOL. Not a bad suggestion. If Leviathan is supposed to be that tall bloke in the brim hat from Batman, Inc #6 my suggestion of Tim gets tossed out. I'm assuming it's Ra's but I digress and taking the thread off topic lol.
