It not.So remind me, is Pattinson's Batman in this new universe or not?
If not, is it because Matt Reeves is being a control freak like Nolan was with "His" Batman?
Probably more to do with Reeves version not aligning with Gunn's.

That's kind of being a control freak...It not.

How so? Reeves version of Batman was around before the Gunn's DCU, yes? That's kind of being a control freak...
The Snyder Cut is not the only version of the movie. What's the second version? I only know this one
There’s a similar, but different, version of the scene at the end of the theatrical Justice League. What's the second version? I only know this one
I've never understood why this is so difficult. Its possible to make a movie that doesnt reference the entire universe while still being set in that universe. Let Batman do his own thing and just bring the character into the occasional Justice League or team up movie. Simple. Having multiple Batmans onscreen just makes it more confusing for the audience. It was always intended as it's own separate thing, so nothing changed when Gunn took over. It came out in the midst of the DCEU but was pretty clearly it's own thing. I don't see it so much as Reeves being a control freak, more just that DC decided to just let him do his own thing, rather than force him to fit it into the DCEU and now the DCU. He was the director and director/writer for Dawn and War for the Planet of the Apes, and worked in TV, so he's more than able to fit his work his work into a shared universe if necessary.
That is a great interview. Gunn's quite an energetic, quick, likeable personality. You can see that he's having the time of his life creating and running all this.
Fandom. Where fun goes to die.Shhh… you know how some people feel about fun!![]()
This universe needs a James Gunn Batman. Can you picture Pattinson's Batman doing a dance-off?I've never understood why this is so difficult. From listening to his interviews, James Gunn Batman wont be doing any dance offs either. Each director will be allowed to put his own stamp on their movies. Don't think that what you saw in Superman is what the rest of the MCU movies will look like. Clayface is going to be a straight up horror type movie and I doubt that Swamp Thing will be all fun and games either. This universe needs a James Gunn Batman.
