DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

I really, really have to disagree there. It was in point of fact the primary problem.
Indeed. The only issues with Finn Jones are the fact that he wasn't a strong enough actor to handle mediocre scripts (case in point, he shined in The Defenders and Luke Cage) and the fact he had zero prep time to train for the intensive action sequences.

The core issues of the series were the showrunning and writing...and that falls squarely on Scott Buck.

Then you clearly weren't participating in the threads here about the show because most people tore the first season apart. Some (myself included) are more forgiving of the second season (produced without Buck, thank the gods)

I just looked back at my posts during that first season. I don't think my opinions have changed that much. Also, it wasn't as uniformly trashed in that thread as you imply. Opinion was divided, sure, and people were not as impressed as they were with the other series--but it wasn't a unanimous slam of the show and its writing.

Then I stand corrected. I guess my memory is failing and/or the show just hasn't aged well (aside from defending Finn Jones) in the intervening years.

That, and the inherent problems always associated with Iron Fist: A blonde white Martial Artist whose actually rich.

In stark contrast to all the other Netflix protagonists who were more disadvantaged.
