Captain .... Series

I'm still not clear on one thing...

How can Axanar be considered canon when it hasn't even been released yet? All there's been are showcase reels.

How convenient. Having a canon character in a fan film doesn't make the project canon, else nearly every fan film ever made would be canon.

please don't try to bait me into this kind of twisted verbal rabbit-hole?

perhaps re-phasing to avoid battling re: semantics?

...or does that spoil you fun? =(

...sounds pretty sweet to me too! :techman:

can't wait for Axanar! :klingon:
I think my head would explode with the awesome news if Taran Fahir were cast for that role.

Realistically, I know chances are that it won't happen, but it would be awesome.

Being a fan film, technically I doubt it will be considered canon.

But if the film is as awesome as the prelude video, I will count it as such, in my personal canon. I think it looks great.

Back on track now, I think I should throw my ideas into the ring.

I would love to see any of the following fill the 'Big Chair':
- Captain Uhura (though I'd love to see Ms Nichols resume the role, at 82, she may be a little too old--though there are a number of mature actresses that could take up the reigns of her post-TUC adventures)
- I would've said Captain Data from TNG, but since he is dead (B-4/Data 2.0 does not count), then my next choice would be Captain La Forge of the Challenger
- Captain Kira commanding DS9 after Bajor has been admitted into the Federation
- Captain Tuvok--why he hasn't been given a ship yet in the novelverse baffles me, he has to be one of the best and most experienced officers in the entire fleet

I Agree! (except where you have doubt, I have hope!) =D

I think Axanar WILL make heads explode! :rommie:

"This is Captain Seven of Nine, of the Federation starship Relevance. Break off your attack, or my First Officer Kes will burn your face off. Resistance is futile."

Christopher Pike.

Seriously. He got one episode and his portrayer bumped his head so we got stuck with the Great Ham of the Galaxy forever.

I vote for a Pike series.
